Marcom is Apple’s Global Marketing Communications group. We oversee all of Apple’s advertising and marketing to ensure the flawless development and execution of world-class communications. The Executive Producer / Line Producer in Marcom leads the internal production studio responsible for physical production of live-action content, finding innovative and efficient production models for the growing and evolving needs of video and film marketing deliverables. In this role you must be able to support the video producers by overseeing the coordination of multiple live-action shoots from director treatments, bidding, pre-production, and production through delivery of assets to post-production.

Key Qualifications

  • You have at least ten years of experience as an Executive Producer or Line Producer, at a commercial production company, ad agency, or in creative production services.
  • You have experience producing a wide spectrum of content, from TV commercials, social, digital, long-form doc + narrative, concert films, animation, motion graphics, music videos and concert films – basically the toolkit to tackle any project.
  • You have strong leadership abilities, excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrated project and budget management skills, and a proven track record of influencing the creative output.
  • You have relationships with the production community that bring an in-depth knowledge of resources, talent, directors, crew, and production vendors. You can work with multiple partners and negotiate agreements amidst varying opinions.
  • You can solve problems creatively and are able to compromise without impacting the work and are able to work upstream to anticipate and plan for changes.
  • You understand the Apple voice and aesthetic and can craft creative work that meets the organization’s expectations.
  • You are comfortable traveling both domestically and internationally, sometimes with minimal notice.

Description

Main point of contact for the video producers to explore the opportunities of producing with the internal studio. Work with the producer pool and creative teams to explore and identify new up and coming directors, vendors, talent and production models. Work with both the most established talent in the industry and discover new alternatives. Oversee the mechanics of internal video production, driving logistics and executing flawlessly on time and within budget. Prepare bid packages consisting of cover letter, AICP bid in Showbiz, and timeline Knowledge of Union and Non-union rules, production accounting, and business affairs best practices. Develop a plan to grow the internal production capability for the evolving needs of Marcom and communicate it to all stakeholders Clearly articulate budgets, track production expenses, shows how our costs have evolved, and explain the story behind it.

Education & Experience

BS degree preferred.

Compensation

  • Camera Operator/Drone: $650/12 + $150 drone kit fee
