Primary Responsibilities:
• Must be skilled with high quality digital cameras such as the RED V-Raptor, RED Komodo, or equivalent
• Must be skilled in techniques and principles of staging, lighting, studio location shoot setups, and audio recording
• Must be knowledgeable in general lighting and production equipment
• Must be able to execute on-the-fly content as well as pre-produced content with high-quality and stylistic integrity
• Ability to shoot a variety of styles of original and branded content, in the field and in the studio, including documentary pieces, commercial-style shoots, long-form, etc.
• Ability to lead a production crew while on set
• Transports, operates, and maintains functionality of cameras, lighting, audio, and supporting production equipment safely and competently
• Responsible for shot lists, lighting diagrams, scouting, etc. as needed on projects
• Collaborates in pre-production with producers and directors to properly set up shoot schedules and requirements for projects
• May interface with producers, creative directors, and clients to establish the looks required for each project’s scope of work through the artistic and technical decisions made regarding equipment choice, lighting, shot selection, camera operation, and other creative technical elements
• Excellent sense of timing, motion, and movement in visual media
• Assists with the management of gear – maintaining, storing, cleaning, usage, and upgrades as needed – as well as assistance with managing the Company’s studio, warehouse, and vehicle fleet
• Ability to manage and facilitate transfer of camera footage from a shoot to be used by post-production
• Proactively assessing what does and does not work on shoots, and continuously making adjustments to ensure better quality and efficiency
• On-going communication with post-production staff to help maximize efficiency and overall production quality
• Participate in training to master new skills and to become distinguished at existing skills
• Maintains Part 107 license, and remains up to date on the current Part 107 laws and regulations for operating an Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS); if does not possess Part 107 license, must be willing to take necessary steps to obtain
• Be flexible in scheduling – extended weekday hours and weekends as well as travel should be expected

Education and/or Experience:
Minimum five years of production experience with digital cameras, lighting, production support equipment, audio, etc.; Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Film or Media Communications preferred.
Physical Demands:
Ability to regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
