About The Job
For the Landrum location, plans, schedules, and manages manufacturing production processes. Assists with planning and directing an efficient layout of equipment and flow of materials. Ensures manufacturing performance, volume and quality goals are met by utilizing efficient methods and maintaining appropriate staffing levels. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Responsible for implementing corporate safety practices and ensuring that all operations are conducted in a safe, efficient and cost-effective manner.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Uphold company safety standards and ensure appropriate safety measures are followed
- Coordinate manufacturing with other departments, as well as with vendors and shippers
- Direct personnel towards maximum performance
- Hire, train, and evaluate manufacturing workers; monitor workers to ensure they meet performance and safety requirements
- Direct corrections (corrective action) of any manufacturing problems that may arise
- Plan and coordinate all maintenance activities including analyzing equipment needs, reliability issues, safety issues, developing preventive/predictive maintenance programs.
- Monitor the standard of the product, that is, they must ensure that the ready good meets the established quality standards
- Plan the production schedule keeping in mind relevant constraints such as time and budget

Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in production and manufacturing management; preferred experience in operations for events, distribution, event rental, or a related industry
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
- Team facilitation and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills
- Understand the quality standards and health & safety regulations
- Demonstrated general skills with the various features of spreadsheet and basic software (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet, etc.)
- Effectively communicate, both orally and in writing
- Individuals may need to sit or stand as needed. The position may require walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day able to lift-up to 50Ibs
- A background in welding, fabrication and assembly is a plus
- 30-hour OSHA training and certification preferred

- High School education or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred but not required

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Assistant Videographer/Editor position requires skills in a high-volume production environment specializing in the final storytelling of a project. - Operate additional cameras as needed for production needs including live events.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum Degree Required: Minimum college or trade school experience in production or similar field..
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of practical field experience working in multiple aspects of film and video production.
- Color grading at intermediate level.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
- Thorough understanding of fishing, hunting, and other outdoor skills as required to best work with production team in outdoor recreation company.
- Strong work ethic. Outgoing personality with ability to interact within group of creative individuals in a dynamic and constantly changing environment. Willingness to react with short notice to changes in daily routine.
- Willing to travel as required – often locations require extensive driving and multiple night stays with early and late hours.
- Strong communication skills – able to understand direction and make themselves understood when communicating objectives for accomplishing story lines or goals of a production.
- Thorough knowledge of Avid non-linear editing systems, specifically the Avid Media Composer or similar.
- Strong working knowledge of various codecs, containers and file types used in today’s media environment.
- Able to work within a team environment including in the field or studio and in the post process, editing and finishing.
- Able to lift and carry heavy equipment in variety of terrain and conditions from very hot to very cold.
- Good driving record, able to secure Missouri Operator’s License Class E.
- Good organizational skills: able to keep multiple projects balanced at any one time
- Strong video resume required. This resume should demonstrate samples from all of the areas mentioned above.
