Job Responsibilities:
- Consult with the production team to understand the vision and requirements for actor appearances.
- Create and design hairstyles and makeup looks that complement the actors’ features and characters.
- Apply makeup and style hair before and during the shoot, making adjustments as required.
- Ensure continuity in hair and makeup and make any necessary changes between scenes.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including sanitizing all makeup and hair tools.
- Collaborate with other members of the design team to ensure a cohesive look.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a hairdresser and make-up artist, preferably in the film, television, or advertising industry.
- A portfolio showcasing your work.
- Expert knowledge of hair styling, hair care products, and makeup application techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with actors, directors, and the production team.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of professionalism on set.
- Must be based in Sydney or willing to travel/relocate as needed for the shoot.
- Available for the entire shoot period starting on the 1st of March.
- Ages between 25 – 39 years old are preferred to align with the brand’s target demographic.
Compensation Details:
- The selected candidate will be compensated with a fee of $2,500 for their services.
