CASTING INDIVIDUALS IN THE GREATER TORONTO AREA WHO VISIT FAST FOOD RESTAURANTS FOR LUNCH (SANDWICHES) FOR A FUN COMMERCIAL!

  • We are seeking energetic and outgoing anglophones, 18-75 years old, in the greater Toronto area, who visit fast food restaurants to order sandwiches for lunch.
  • Do you love going out for lunch? Are you someone who always orders the same food? Do you always visit the same restaurant for sandwiches? If so, we want to hear from you!
PLEASE NOTE:
– This is a non-union project. No acting experience is required, however, you should be outgoing and comfortable being interviewed on camera.
– We encourage submissions from a diverse group of people.
– Strict COVID-19 safety protocol will be adhered to during the production of this commercial and it will be produced in accordance with public health guidelines at the time of filming. For more information, please visit: https://www.cpat.ca
– To apply, you MUST be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
– If shortlisted, you MUST be available on July 16th for a brief online interview with the director.
– If selected, you MUST be available for a COVID test on July 20th or 21st. You will only be required for one day for a brief testing appointment, but must keep both dates available until booked.
– If selected, you MUST be available for a wardrobe appointment on July 20th or 21st. You will only be required for a brief appointment on one day, but must keep both dates available until booked.
– If selected, you MUST be available for filming in Montreal between July 23rd-27th. If you are not local to Montreal, you will need to be available between July 22nd-28th to travel to and from Montreal. You will only be required for one day of filming, but must keep all the dates available until booked.
– If booked, you will receive $75 for a wardrobe appointment, $75 for a COVID test, and $750 for one day of filming. If your footage is used in the final commercial, you will receive an additional $1,500-$2,000 depending on use.
– If you are not local to Montreal (within 1 hour), if selected, transportation costs will be covered, including mileage for self-drive and accommodations. You will also receive $350 per travel day or hold day and $100 per diem.

Casting for 12-Month-Old Baby – Role of “Luna” (Latinx/Hispanic)

Job Description:
Vancouver Casting is seeking a 12-month-old Latinx/Hispanic baby to fill the role of “Luna” in an upcoming project. This is a unique opportunity for babies and their guardians to be involved in a professional production. The baby cast as Luna will participate in on-camera scenes in Vancouver.

Job Responsibilities:

  • The selected baby will appear in scenes as the character “Luna.”
  • Guardians must ensure the baby is comfortable, calm, and able to follow the on-set guidelines for filming with infants.
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure smooth on-set filming.
  • Be available for multiple days of shooting, as required by the production schedule.

Requirements:

  • Baby must be 12 months old and of Latinx/Hispanic ethnicity.
  • Must be non-union.
  • Guardians must be comfortable having the baby on set and working with the production team.
  • Availability for the specified shooting schedule in Vancouver.

Compensation:

  • Non-Union OCP: $4,000 CAD + 15% agent fee.
  • Additional $600 CAD + 15% agent fee for another portion of the work.

  5. Friends Group: A group of 3-5 friends who play sports, have game nights, or travel together.
  6. Barbers: Those who donate services to youth or adults with special needs.
  7. Veterans with Pets or Animal Shelter Volunteers.
  8. South Asian or East Asian Families: Ideally, three generations.
  9. Parents Supporting Their Child’s or Teenager’s Creative Journey: Funky hair, fashion choices, etc.
  10. Coaches and Kids Who Play Hockey or Football (American).
  11. Charity Workers: Those dedicated to charitable organizations like Habitat for Humanity, Food Banks, etc.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the filming of personal stories that capture your unique experiences or contributions.
  • Work closely with the production team to create authentic, relatable content.
  • Submit a video introducing yourself and sharing your story (required for consideration).

Requirements:

  • Must be real people fitting one of the categories listed above.
  • Must be available for shoot dates and flexible with schedules.
  • Must be comfortable being filmed and sharing personal aspects of your life on camera.
  • Talent must reside in the Greater Toronto Area.

Compensation:

  • $600 per session (10-hour day).
  • $90/hour overtime.
  • $75 for wardrobe fitting (2 hours).
  • $37/hour overtime for wardrobe fitting.
  • $5000 for a 2-year usage buyout (must appear in final edit).
  • Option for an additional 2-year buyout at $6000.

Job Description: We are seeking real football and hockey coaches in the Greater Toronto Area for an exciting upcoming campaign with a major financial institution. Coaches will share their authentic stories in a professionally filmed campaign, highlighting their experiences in youth sports.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate in a one-day shoot as a coach, showcasing your authentic coaching experience.
  • Be comfortable on camera and able to share your personal story and experiences coaching kids in either football or hockey.
  • Attend a wardrobe fitting before the shoot.

Requirements:

  • Must be a real football or hockey coach based in the Greater Toronto Area.
  • Comfortable speaking on camera about your experiences.
  • Availability for all shoot dates (November 8-10) as exact scheduling will be determined closer to filming.
  • Non-union participants only.

Compensation:

  • $600/Session (for a 10-hour day)
  • $90/hour for overtime
  • $75 for a 2-hour wardrobe fitting
  • $37/hour for overtime during wardrobe fitting
  • $5000 for 2-year usage if you are included in the final edit (usage buyout)
  • Additional 2-year usage option available for $6000
