POSITION SUMMARY:

Are you a natural storyteller? Skilled with the written word and creating compelling visuals? Do you have a passion for the Outdoors? This position allows you to create content that will be used across the resort’s social, blog, web, and email channels. This role works in support of and alignment with the Social and Content Associate Manager and Creative and Content Manager’s strategic plan.

Inspire and welcome people to venture out with compelling written and visual content that supports the resort’s marketing goals, while also highlighting the brand voice through a fresh, fun, organic lens. Use your writing, photo, and video skills to bring the brand and the resort’s stories to life; from mountain conditions, to resort events and operational updates, behind-the-scenes action to personality profiles, and all the things there are to do on and off the mountain.

You should demonstrate great attention to detail, have very strong communication skills and be a team player. This is a job that requires both work and plays to share your enthusiasm for the mountains and Winter Park Resort.

The Digital Content Coordinator is a key member of the Marketing Team and works first and foremost to drive the resort and marketing goals. They must be a team player and have a marketing mindset, able to jump in and contribute to a multitude of projects and flex their skillset where needed. Please note that advanced skiing/snowboarding ability is an essential function of this job.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
  • Develop and craft powerful brand and product content to push key marketing goals and targets
  • Assist with capturing, creating content for, posting on, and optimizing social media channels including Instagram – including Stories, Tik Tok, Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, and YouTube. Additional channels may be added as social strategy expands.
  • Assist with community management on all social channels.
  • Work closely with the Social and Content Associate Manager to write compelling, SEO optimized blog content that creates added value and attracts site visitors and social followers
  • Write copy for advertising, paid social campaigns, email, website, and other marketing materials as needed
  • Collaborate with the Content Coordinator and the Social and Content Associate Manager to source and create a video, photo, and social assets to support content needs every week
  • Take ownership and accountability for snow messaging & content for the winter season. This role is responsible for tracking weather conditions, alerting the marketing team to incoming storms, implementing the marketing teams snow protocol, initiating daily resort and snow conditions messaging and planning for and capturing snow-related content, both photo, and video, and writing copy for powder alert emails
  • Leverage existing performance and analytic measurement tools to evaluate content performance. Provide thoughts and recommendations to the team to better leverage content to support business objectives. Continue to optimize content based on results and guest insights.
  • Confer daily with Mountain Operations, Guest Services and Information, Patrol, Marketing, Public Relations, Events, Community Organizations, and various Resort Businesses to compile, update and disseminate mountain information as needed.
  • Ability to understand and write in a consistent brand voice
  • Help coordinate and assist the marketing team as needed including, but not limited to hosting media, procuring tickets, coordinating on various projects, setting up social contests, and more.
  • Project manage special initiatives as assigned to drive Marketing department goals
  • Maintain strong knowledge of all current resort products, offerings, and packages
  • Assist with writing package and product one-pagers and descriptions as needed
  • Help manage photo and video assets by uploading and tagging photo assets in the DAM, and organizing seasonal selects.
  • All daily work is time-sensitive and must be completed according to times outlined on a set schedule

SUCCESS FACTORS:

  • Content Creator with an inherent understanding of user behaviors across digital platforms and how best to develop content that will maximize our brand and product awareness not only for consumers but for distribution channels
  • Must be able to operate at the speed of social – taking advantage of both proactive and reactive opportunities to devise relevant content
  • Proficient to advanced skills in photography and video, including but not limited to: mobile asset capture and editing workflow, talent direction, In-app editing (Instagram, tik tok)
  • Proficient in advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Premiere, Lightroom, and Photoshop.
  • Excellent communication skills in both public speaking and writing – should feel comfortable pitching ideas to the larger team and leadership.
  • Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 2 to 3 years of social media or content experience in a professional setting, preferably in the outdoor industry.
  • Advanced level skier/snowboarder

WAGE:

The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of Winter Park Resorts’ hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Winter Park Resorts’ total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include many region-specific benefits.

  • Hourly Range: $20-$21/hr

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

  • This position will be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position a minimum of 20 pounds on an occasional basis.
  • Manual dexterity to operate a computer and other common office equipment constantly.

The Role

Associate Photographers are the talented and versatile team responsible for the media collection for Homes.com and Apartments.com. Equipped with a top-of-the-line Pro 3 Matterport, digital camera equipment and iPad, our Associate Photographers create virtual tours, floorplans and photography for residential homes. Each Associate Photographer is given a core territory in which they are responsible for servicing clients of Homes.com and Apartments.com.

 

Associate Photographers will have appointments set for defined dates and times, where they will scan homes and apartments with Matterport Pro3 cameras, capturing virtual tours and floor plans. Associate Photographers will also be responsible for residential photography to be used in marketing purposes to advertise homes and apartments to future owners and renters. This role works closely with clients, sales associates, logistics and the management team. Photographers are managed remotely by a Photography Manager located in local markets.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support marketing efforts on our industry-leading marketplaces, Homes.com and Apartments.com, by capturing beautiful 3-D virtual tours and footprints.
  • Create a portfolio of photographs to best feature homes and apartments, utilizing photography techniques to capture the spaces in the most pleasing way possible.
  • Work closely with scheduling and dispatch teams to maximize appointments and meet our client’s demands.
  • Professionally communicate with clients, sales, researcher partners, and management to strategically evaluate priorities, initiatives, and tasks.

Associate Photographers will have appointments set for defined dates and times, where they will scan homes and apartments with Matterport Pro3 cameras, capturing virtual tours and floor plans. Associate Photographers will also be responsible for residential photography to be used in marketing purposes to advertise homes and apartments to future owners and renters. This role works closely with clients, sales associates, logistics and the management team. Photographers are managed remotely by a Photography Manager located in local markets.

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

CBS News Chicago is in search of its next innovative visual storyteller.  Ideal candidate will have an expert understanding of NPPA & cinematic style principles, a keen eye and ear for detail, with a demonstrated body of work experience.  To cover news events and stories as a per diem Photographer Technician for CBS Chicago newscasts CBS News Streaming, and local programming.  Will support multi-platform social media strategies and cbschicago.com.  Field duties include but not limited to professional operation of broadcast cameras, drones, digital microwave and satellite ENG vehicles, non-linear editing systems, and IP based broadcast applications.

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Candidates should demonstrate knowledge and experience with all aspects of ENG news coverage, including Sony HD cameras, Edius non-linear editing, ENG lighting, microwave and satellite transmissions, drones & GoPro style cameras.
  • Edit news stories under urgent deadline, while maintaining editorial integrity.
  • Safely operating company vehicles, including microwave equipped vans and trucks, on potentially long drives in all weather conditions.

The pay range for this position is $53,500 – $96,300 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees.  In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual.  Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.

Human Rights Watch (HRW) is seeking applicants for the position of Producer Editor within the Multimedia Division which is part of the Media Department. The Media Department is one of the major departments of Human Rights Watch (HRW),and is primarily responsible for the communications, public relations and media aspects of HRW.  The Department is led by the Global Media Director and consists of Communications, Multimedia, and Audience Engagement Divisions. The Producer Editor is based in the Multimedia Division.

This position reports to the Multimedia Deputy Director and will be based in HRW’s Beirut or Amman offices. The successful candidate may have the option to work remotely.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, research, storyboard, produce and edit video and animated multimedia products that will further HRW’s global advocacy objectives;
  2. Make complex ideas simple through effective writing skills and visually compelling video content, ensuring HRW’s editorial standards and adhere to the highest journalistic practices;
  3. Collaborate with HRW researchers and Divisions to develop multimedia communications plans for their reports and advocacy;
  4. Actively monitor social media for breaking news and trending topic opportunities for MENA region;
  5. Deliver outputs in a timely manner and be consistent with the agreed strategy and priorities of the Media Department;
  6. Actively seek to incorporate diversity, equity, and inclusion values and initiatives into multimedia, including collaborating with global partners and consultants;
  7. Establish clear work plans for colleagues and communicate priorities clearly and effectively. Provide oversight and take responsibility for delegated assignments;
  8. Manage and prioritize multiple projects with careful attention to all details both in creative production and management of the work;
  9. Manage content distribution, logging, archiving, footage and other tasks related to production;
  10. Project manage and oversee colleagues and consultants producing multimedia content worldwide;
  11. Manage risk assessment process of projects;
  12. Assist with contracting, budgeting and expense tracking;
  13. Project manage and oversee colleagues and consultants producing multimedia content worldwide; and
  14. Perform other tasks as required.

Qualifications:

Education: A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent level of experience in Communications, Journalism, Multimedia, Visual Arts or similar related is required.

Experience: A minimum of five (5) years of experience working in broadcast journalism, video production or a similar field is required.

Related Skills and Knowledge: 

  1. Exceptional oral and written communication skills in English and Arabic are required; proficiency in other languages is highly desirable.
  2. Demonstrate traits of tact, discretion, sound editorial judgment and the ability to function in a confidential capacity are required.
  3. Excellent story editing skills are required; videography skills are preferable.
  4. A deep understanding and track record working on social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, WhatsApp and what sorts of content best engages audiences on these platforms is required.
  5. Knowledge of leading graphics, audio, and video tools including Adobe Suite. Premiere Pro and After Effects. Proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop desired. Working knowledge of Mac OS.
  6. Ability to work effectively with multiple languages is required.
  7. Excellent time-management skills and ability to prioritize tasks while maintaining a strong attention to detail are required.
  8. Ability to multi-task multiple stories while also producing long-term projects, work under pressure, and thrive in a deadline-driven environment is required.
  9. Excellent interpersonal skills in order to work collaboratively within HRW as well as with external media partners are required.
  10. Flexibility in responding quickly to events as they occur, producing excellent written material under tight deadlines is required.
  11. Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, creative problem-solver, highly organized, and demonstrates the ability to work well as a member of a team are required.

Salary and Benefits: HRW seeks exceptional applicants and offers competitive compensation and employer-paid benefits. The salary range for this position is USD 66,000-72,000.
