SUMMARY
Working with general supervision, the Video Production & Associate Experience Specialist will oversee all aspects of our video production strategy, as well as assist with internal communications and associate engagement projects. This role interacts with a supervisor several times a week, perhaps daily, to receive guidance and feedback.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*
- Identify impactful weekly content designed around storytelling principles to personalize the narrative in a way that resonates, is relatable, and captures GameStop’s culture and values
 - Direct, shoot, and capture great performances/stories from internal staff
 - Capture video content during live events, behind-the-scenes and in scripted environments
 - Capture and cleanly key green screen shoots
 - Quickly and efficiently edit high-quality video for internal distribution
 - With supervisor vision, assist with monthly webinar scripting and video production, and executive presentation assistance for employee events
 - In partnership with the Store Training specialist, plan, script, produce, film, and edit necessary Store training videos
 - Well versed in equipment and processes to execute live streaming and online productions
 - Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders to develop clear, consistent, and creative stories, that drive strategic business objectives
 - With supervisor guidance, moderate associate comments and feedback on internal communication channels
 - Partner with the Creative Services team to develop complementary visuals and videos for internal use, when appropriate, like managing posters, acrylics, and internal TVs throughout the building
 - Assist Sr. Specialist Communications, Events & Engagement with high priority engagement projects
 - Collect and analyze data to support internal stakeholders in understanding performance of communications’ tactics, adjusting strategies and optimizing approaches
 - Due to the nature of our associate engagement and experience projects including national video content, and in-person events, some evenings, weekends, and travel may be required (less than 10%)

- Video Production- Superior camera skills with creative eye and working knowledge of various types of cameras
 - Curating Content: Candidates must demonstrate skill in working on multiple digital platforms and with varied means of storytelling, including video, podcasts, infographics and more

BASIC AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE)
- Bachelor’s degree in Video Journalism, Video Production; at least three years of additional related experience may be considered in substitution
 - 1-2 years experience in video production, post-production and related experience
 - Communications experience a plus
 - Portfolio of your work is required
