MANAGER – PR AND INFLUENCER PARTNERSHIPS FOR LUXOTTICA EYEWEAR BRAND PORTFOLIO
Factory PR seeks an Account Executive/Manager to join its Fashion Division to work on the Luxottica Eyewear portfolio of brands, including Ray Ban, Persol, Vogue Eyewear and all the designer licenses. The candidate should be an avid consumer of fashion media and have a robust knowledge of the influencers, taste makers and innovators leading the conversation in this space.
The position calls for an organized and attention-detailed publicist and relationship builder with a strong knowledge of influencer marketing. The candidate will work with—and be mentored by— an incredible team of publicists and strategists.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the execution of innovative communications strategies for all Luxottica brands, melding PR with paid and organic influencer campaigns
- Write and produce high impact press materials including press kits, releases and pitches
- Pitch products and campaigns to consumer media to secure product placements and news features
- Maintain and expand lists of Fashion, Lifestyle and business editors, broadcast producers, and conference organizers
- Build lists of targeted influencers that suit the aesthetic and ethos of each brand in the portfolio and conduct outreach for seeing.
- Contract approved influencers for paid opportunities
- Support and attend brand events and partnership opportunities such as Coachella, NY Fashion Week and press trips
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 2.5-years of PR experience, preferably at an agency
- Foundational knowledge of fashion, lifestyle and consumer media practices
- Experience working with paid and organic influencer programs
- Ability to successfully and strategically pitch and place news stories and product features
- Incredible attention to detail in creating and formatting documents and professional communications
- Strong writing, communication and presentation skills to effectively articulate ideas to clients and colleagues
- Strong work ethic and an insatiable desire to learn and develop your skills
- Strong sense of collaboration and team spirit
- High level of interest and proficiency in the evolving media landscape
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced, deadline oriented, high-energy environment with a consistent positive attitude

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Assistant Videographer/Editor position requires skills in a high-volume production environment specializing in the final storytelling of a project. This position is primarily responsible for assisting in the filming and editing process for company video projects. This position requires a diverse knowledge of industry standard types of cameras and production equipment along with basic Avid editing skills. They will work closely with the Producers, Videographers and Editors on staff to ensure projects are completed on time and with the highest technical and aesthetic standards. EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum Degree Required: Minimum college or trade school experience in production or similar field..
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of practical field experience working in multiple aspects of film and video production.
- Color grading at intermediate level.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
- Thorough understanding of fishing, hunting, and other outdoor skills as required to best work with production team in outdoor recreation company.
- Strong work ethic. Outgoing personality with ability to interact within group of creative individuals in a dynamic and constantly changing environment. Willingness to react with short notice to changes in daily routine.
- Willing to travel as required – often locations require extensive driving and multiple night stays with early and late hours.
- Strong communication skills – able to understand direction and make themselves understood when communicating objectives for accomplishing story lines or goals of a production.
- Thorough knowledge of Avid non-linear editing systems, specifically the Avid Media Composer or similar.
- Strong working knowledge of various codecs, containers and file types used in today’s media environment.
- Able to work within a team environment including in the field or studio and in the post process, editing and finishing.
- Able to lift and carry heavy equipment in variety of terrain and conditions from very hot to very cold.
- Good driving record, able to secure Missouri Operator’s License Class E.
