The Associate Producer supports the senior level producers on client facing projects for both video and event programs. This person is responsible for assisting with logistics as well as making sure project elements are delivered on time and on budget in conjunction with the core team. Small projects will be assigned to be managed independently based on experience. As an externally facing team member, we look for accountable, driven, professional people who put client service and quality first. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are required for this position. Our ideal candidate will have experience in both event and video projects from an agency or other production environment.
Responsibilities:
- A supporting role to senior level staff, managing elements of an overall program
- Supports video and event projects ensuring deadlines are met and client expectations are exceeded
- Attends client meetings, manages status reports and records notes
- Drafts and maintains schedules for both video and event projects
- Maintains exceptional working relationship with clients and acts professionally in all interactions
- Assists Senior Producers with a project team of production resources including freelance staff and vendors
- Creates Video and PowerPoint budgets with input from Senior Producers, operations
- Responsible for managing components of event or video budget with appropriate internal team
- Arranges all travel for talent and crew (including per diem, petty cash, and reconciliation)
- Selects and books any entertainment, actors and voiceover talent
- Supports on-site activities onsite for events or on set for video shoots, as appropriate
- Oversight of post production for video projects
- Ensures the prompt and accurate reconciliation following completion of a job with oversight from the assigned account team
- Submits time sheets, expense reports, and all administrative paperwork in a timely fashion
- Projects managed independently will be assigned based on experience and training
- Organized, detailed and responsible with a “get it done” attitude
Requirements
- College Degree
- 3+ years’ experience required
- Travel for this position is required (Approximately 25-30%)**
- Thrives in a fast paced environment; flexible
- Knowledge of video formats and experience with the production process
- SharePoint knowledge preferred
- Agency experience preferred
This position is based just outside of Boston, MA.
