Job Description:
We are seeking a bilingual English/Spanish voiceover artist for the New York State Office of Mental Health’s public awareness campaign “We Hear You.” The campaign aims to share short, impactful stories of individuals from diverse backgrounds finding solace and support through contacting 988, a mental health lifeline.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver a sophisticated and engaging narration for the campaign, ensuring emotional depth and clarity.
- Record 1 full Spanish general script, along with 6 English tags and 6 Spanish tags in formats of 30 seconds, 15 seconds, and 6 seconds.
- Provide clean, raw voiceover files suitable for professional broadcasting.
- Work remotely and manage recording sessions to produce high-quality audio files.
- Adhere to all project guidelines and delivery schedules.
Requirements:
- Proficient in both English and Spanish with the ability to deliver performances in both languages.
- Any gender, sounding between the ages of 30-50 years.
- Must have a dynamic and captivating voice suitable for a sophisticated narrative role.
- Previous experience in voiceover work, preferably in public service announcements or similar projects.
- Must submit both English and Spanish voiceover reels for consideration.
- Ability to record from a home studio or similar setup that ensures clean, professional-grade audio.
- Must agree to the terms of the project, which are non-negotiable.
Compensation: $1,000 base pay + $300 buyout, plus 10% agency fee if applicable.
