The Associate Producer in the Theatrical department reports to the VP of Theatrical. The primary role of the AP is to support the Creative Directors and Producers. As you gain experience working with our established team, you’ll have the opportunity to manage creative projects with editors, designers, and music to create impactful and memorable advertising campaigns.

Tasks/Responsibilities:

  • Working as a liaison across all departments (graphics, music, editorial, production and finishing) to ensure producers, CDs, and editors have all the materials needed to meet timely delivery of top tier creative.
  • Monitoring all emails and interfacing on client calls. Managing meetings and schedules and taking and distributing notes from meetings.
  • Resource Management – making sure the editors and designers working on your projects are clear on what they’re doing and what their deadlines are. Collaborating with all departments while sharing resources with fellow producers.
  • Project Management – Keeping track and requesting assets, graphics, transcripts, legal logs, etc. per each project’s individual needs.
  • Quality control of all materials sent to clients.
  • Understanding A/V file formats and post-production workflows to anticipate what editors, designers and finishers will need and managing asset distribution between the departments.
  • Brainstorming and contributing creative ideas to pitches and jobs.
  • Understanding and following all security protocols.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in a Coordinator position in a post-production environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with an attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, problem solve on the fly and prioritize workload to meet deadlines while remaining calm and professional under pressure.
  • Must have the ability to work independently and with team members.

Regular business hours are Mon-Fri 10am to 7pm.

The annual pay range for this EXEMPT position is $72,500 – $90,000.

Actual offers may vary based on work experience.

This is a hybrid position – 3 days working in our Hollywood office and 2 days WFH.

Summary:

The position reports to the VP of TV and Streaming. You will have the ability to solve creative problems as well as track and manage department tasks and manage projects.

Tasks/Responsibilities:

  • Strong QC skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a constantly shifting environment while maintaining a high level of organization and hitting tight deadlines.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
  • Must have the ability to work independently and with team members.
  • Understanding of UHD/HD/SD formats, for file-based deliveries.
  • Manage asset distribution between editorial, motion graphics and finishing.
  • Track projects through the offline editorial phase in anticipation of those projects entering the finishing phase.
  • Requesting and obtaining assets such as graphics, music, cue sheets and archival videos and photos
  • Manage delivery of shot, VFX, and graphic checker requests
  • Understand and follow all security protocols.
  • Other duties as assigned.

LA SENIOR ART DIRECTOR

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Senior Art Director is responsible for creating high-end looks, ideating concepts, and animating their concepts for TV spots, trailers and digital A/V. Project to project, the Senior Art Director is also responsible for leading teams of Art Directors and Designers across both LA and NYC offices executing campaign design and production work. 

This is a leadership role. The Senior AD will be expected to mentor junior designers as a model of creativity and professionalism.

Reports To:

VP DIGITAL AND DESIGN (New York)

CREATIVE DIRECTOR – DESIGN & DIGITAL (Los Angeles) 

 

Tasks: 

1. Design – Creating industry-leading graphics for Theatrical, TV, Digital AV, and pitch decks. This includes collaborating in brainstorm sessions and contributing creative ideas.

2. Animating – once successful looks have been chosen,  animating those designs with fluency.

3. Supervising – If styles are delegated to junior designers, the Senior AD will be expected to supervise their work.

4. Mentoring – provide feedback, guidance, and advice to junior designers as we expand and strengthen the LA team.

  1. Creative Excellence – Taking initiative on innovative techniques and work practices with the vision of cultivating Zealot as a world-class vendor.
  2. Technical and Craft Prowess – Be a master of our design tools; demonstrating expert proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Maxon Cinema 4D, as well as veteran skill in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. Champion quality control and an understanding of the technical workflows and dependencies inherent to our field. Strive to expand skillset, learn new tools and techniques while propagating knowledge within the design team. 
  3. Staff harmony – Ensuring positive relations inside the LA office and also with the New York team. Personal demonstrations of teamwork and cooperative spirit between the 2 offices.
  4. Reliability – Complies with instructions and performs under high-pressure circumstances. Delivering on-time for both offices.
  5. Communication – Maintaining clear lines of communication with producers, VP and Design Director.
  6. Leadership – Being a teacher and mentor for junior designers across both offices.
