Casting Call: Actors for Dramatic Short Film
Job Description: We are seeking talented male and female actors for roles in an upcoming dramatic short film titled “The Next Day.” This film explores the poignant themes of loss and the subsequent journey through coping and finding strength. Set in the Bay Area, our production will delve into the raw emotions and resilience that come with profound personal upheaval.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the director to bring the script to life, ensuring that the portrayal of characters is authentic and impactful.
- Attend all scheduled rehearsals and be prepared to discuss character development.
- Be available for filming in March on dates to be determined (TBD) and commit to the shooting schedule.
- Participate in wardrobe fittings, makeup sessions, and promotional activities as required.
- Collaborate with other cast members to create a cohesive and powerful ensemble performance.
Requirements:
- Gender: Open to all genders
- Age: Must be able to convincingly portray a character in their 20’s to 30’s
- Experience: Previous acting experience in film, television, or theater is preferred, but not required.
- Availability: Must be available for filming in March (specific dates TBD) and for rehearsals prior to shooting.
- Transportation: Must be able to reliably commute to the Bay Area for the duration of the production.
