The Choice, Inc is facilitating an immediate search for a temporary-to-hire Social Media Manager for our client-a national, public health nonprofit that provides financial assistance programming for individuals in need of medical treatment.
This position is a hybrid opportunity and candidates must be in the DMV area. The office presently works in the office an average of 1-4 times a month. Convenient to red line Metro, free parking also available!
The Social Media Manager is an integral member of the Digital Marketing team, who will play a vital role in capturing the voice of the organization and maintaining consistent branding across social channels. The Manager will be also responsible for showcasing stories, accomplishments, upcoming advocacy/fundraising events, and general content.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of social media management experience. Previous experience with a nonprofit/advocacy organization is preferred preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or relevant field
- Previous experience using a social scheduling and social media content management platforms such as Sprout Social or Hootsuite
- Experience with Canva and/or Adobe Creative Cloud programs
- Familiarity with video editing and other video tools
- Familiarity with social listening tools such as Synthesio, Simply Measured, Mention, or Meltwater a plus!
Job Duties:
- Develop and execute a creative content strategy to drive engagement across digital and social channels including Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and other channels
- Support development of forward-facing promotional materials including toolkits, event announcements, and corporate recognition
- Support content calendar management and development for special programs, campaigns and/or brand initiatives
- Work closely with the Communications and Brand teams to ensure a unified voice across messaging and content
- Work across departments to identify content opportunities that drive brand awareness and audience engagement
- Support daily content needs, including copy, creative, and pre-recorded video, gifs, and infographics
- Assist the Associate Director of Social Media with social platform content planning, calendar management, and social scheduling
- Write engaging content for audiences
- Assist with planning and technical support on select webcasts and live video broadcasts
- Analyze and track campaign performance metrics across channels to help achieve KPI; provide concrete suggestions based on data analysis

Our client, an international scientific non-profit has an immediate opening for a temporary to hire Program Manager for Member Success. The Program Manager will pilot a program that focuses on students and early career recruitment and engagement. The position is both forward-facing and analytical, as it works to both establish relationships with members and uses the data to optimize the approach. We are looking for someone who is comfortable with ambiguity and is flexible, as this a brand-new program
The organization is headquartered in Washington, DC, but this position can be performed remotely. The office is located in DuPont Circle and is open and available to those in the area. The program manager must be available to travel to the annual meeting Dec 9-16. We are looking for someone who can start in September and who is flexible to do a 4 to 5 month contract before a perm hiring decision is made.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 6+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in customer/member support/success, sales, business development or account management.
- 2-4 years of project management experience, including working on simultaneous projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate easily and effectively with both internal and external audiences.
- Demonstrated program and project management skills and success in leading activities to successful completion.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Strong computer skills including word processing, spreadsheet, and data analysis software.
- Strong commitment to accuracy and a high level of attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, willing and able to assume additional responsibilities on short notice.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
- Develop, track, and optimize metrics, and devise a system for agile and ongoing reporting; including adjusting tactics to ensure achievement of goals.
- Work closely with internal cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure an exceptional member experience during piloting and implementation stages.
- Assist in project and event managing real-time testing/piloting efforts at annual conference as well as capturing real-time member feedback. Leads onsite staffing to include troubleshooting any problems.
- Post annual meeting, assist Director, Engagement & Membership and others, with setting strategy for further research and/or program adjustment/implementation.
- Serve as a member product ambassador, keen on educating prospects and customers on program value and capabilities, maintaining a detailed understanding of products and services, assist customers with questions, and suggest the best products for their needs.
- Execute regular touchpoints with the member aimed at planning and monitoring value-add activities.

The Choice Inc is seeking a Digital Marketing Director for our client- a major retail organization.
This is a one year contract opportunity. Strong preference for candidates in the DC area; (Preferred schedule: M/F remote; T-Th in office, some flexibility might be available).
Qualifications:
- 4 to 6 years of hands on marketing experience
- Able to lead strategy, execute, and optimize acquisition and engagement campaigns across digital channels including paid social (LinkedIn, Meta) paid search/PPC and platforms including GDN, Outbrain, Taboola and more.
- Strong and recent experience working in Marketo and/or Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a must.
- Previous experience with a larger association, membership organization, and/or retail industry preferred
Job Duties:
- Work with Senior Director of Digital Marketing and Social Media Director to craft, develop, deploy and analyze multiple lead generation campaigns across different channels and industry audiences
- Serve as an internal digital liaison and partner with internal stakeholders, media partners and external partners/agencies
- Measure digital performance and provide actionable insights on audience performance and best practices
- Work daily in digital platforms including Marketo/Salesforce Marketing Cloud, GA4, social advertising and native advertising platforms, ie Taboola/Outbrain
- Supports revenue and growth programs including annual summits and trade show.
- Ensuring up to date data on present audience; growing new audiences within member and non-member brands
This individual will report to the Senior Digital Marketing Director.
