Summary

  • Are you looking to get your start in the business of deciding what shows and movies viewers want?
  • Working with the Programming Team, the Coordinator is responsible for channel management in order to build out some of the 250+ channels on our service. This role reports to the Programming Manager or Sr Programming Manager.

Responsibilities Include

  • Building episodes in our proprietary Content Management System (CMS).
  • Scheduling pre-programmed live stream and episodic channels.
  • Tracking and data entry used for programming decisions.
  • Understanding of programming workflows and completing tasks within the CMS, content catalog review process, and life-cycle of content.
  • Other tasks and duties as assigned.

Qualities / Experience We’re Seeking

  • This is an entry level position.
  • Detail oriented with a collaborative mindset.
  • A general understanding of databases.
  • Knowledge of and interest in the entertainment media landscape.
  • The ability to pick up proprietary program scheduling software.
  • Comfort working with data and understanding how data plays into programming strategy.

The US base range for this contract position is $18-$24/hour. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

The Consumer Marketing Team is a diverse and agile group that works in an exciting and fast-paced environment, working cross-functionally across different departments and divisions and partnering with multiple technology/distribution partners to ensure that we deliver great streaming content to consumers, however and wherever they want to consume it.

TOP Skills

  • Some entertainment industry (including gaming/music or other entertainment adjacent) experience, within the scope of their career is acceptable
  • Branding around IP or services, will drive market conversations and understand how to get to market and coach team members on how to get to that.
  • Partnering and Collaboration
  • Managing other team members, will have 2 direct reports who also have additional direct reports
  • 12-15 years experience (ideally 5-7 within people management roles)
  • BA degree required

Role Details

  • This role is a temporary position covering for maternity leave who will lead the domestic brand marketing and multicultural marketing team tasked with scaling the brand definition, differentiation, and awareness to further educate consumers of its unique consumer value proposition

Your Day-to-Day

  • Develop brand strategy to drive brand growth & development
  • Lead customer research related to brand projects
  • Drive growth in brand awareness and equity KPIs
  • Shape the ongoing brand strategy to differentiate the service and tell the compelling story of what sets us apart from the competitive set
  • Lead campaign execution and measurement for ongoing brand campaigns for the master brand and service and drive cohesion of brand positioning across cross-functional teams
  • Implement and enforce brand identity, positioning and usage guidelines to ensure consistency across all marketing communications, including brand and verbal identity and brand hierarchy toolkits for the master brand as well as Original series branding.
  • Serve as strategic partner and subject matter expert in all things related to the service brand and drive for consistency across application.
  • Responsible for managing the marketing budget and expenses related to brand campaigns partnering closely with the Media Strategy team.
  • Partner with Data and Insights Group to develop, update and improve reporting that tracks and evaluates brand performance KPIs and their impact on subscriber acquisition and retention

Key Projects

  • Partner with senior management to oversee brand campaign development and execution, coordinating efforts across a cross-functional team including customer acquisition, retention, performance marketing, social media, media, partnerships and more.
  • Partner with the creative services team to develop creative assets for ongoing brand campaigns.
  • Enforce brand architecture and framework for applying the brand identity where applicable.
  • Lead customer research related to brand projects.
  • Develop innovative and long term brand strategies to drive growth

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 12 – 15 years’ experience working in a marketing organization
  • History of managing a team.
  • Experience growing a consumer product brand with key responsibility being driving and increasing brand awareness and brand health metrics in a highly competitive category
  • Experience managing significant marketing and media budgets
  • Experience overseeing internal and external creative and media buying teams and agencies.
  • Consumer and direct marketing experience in the entertainment space a plus.
  • Track record of demonstrating strong relationship building, interpersonal and cross-functional team partnership skills
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical capabilities, particularly in customer segmentation and modeling
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills, ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to a challenging, fast-paced environment of multiple priorities and stakeholders

We are hiring a Senior Program Manager to play a driving role in modernizing our client’s Media Supply Chain, ensuring alignment with corporate operating goals. The Senior Program Manager will be responsible for managing 1-2 key pillars in the Media Supply Chain. Responsibilities will include planning, program delivery, status reporting, and other common project management activities in partnership with the product and engineering teams. One key success factor in this role is the ability to collaborate effectively and connect the dots across teams with many interrelated dependencies and competing priorities.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in program/project management and/or related Operational/Technical experience in a well-established, high-performing software development environment leveraging both Agile (or variations thereof) and Waterfall best practices.
  • Experience in a Senior Program Management capacity, tightly aligning with Product, Engineering, and Operations leads to deliver successful products and services. Establishes rapport and close alignment across the teams to achieve harmony and symbiosis.
  • Experience leading two or more large, multi-year programs, preferably in the digital transformation and/or Media Supply Chain space

Additional Qualifications

  • Media & Entertainment Order Management experience is nice to have
  • Experience optimizing PMO ways of working and collaborating with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Customer teams following both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Ticks and ties the spirit of objects to the interdependent parts of the supply chain to help ensure maximum effectiveness in prioritization, decision making, and alignment
  • Ability to understand technologies applicable to assigned product or service area and facilitate resolution of technical needs as they arise
  • Consulting experience is a plus

Leadership

  • Frequently interacts with a diverse group of executives, project managers, technology, and business sponsors to establish and align on achieving business outcomes
  • Exhibits mastery of methods and techniques to effectively and seamlessly communicate status updates within teams, across teams, and Leadership
  • Mastery of prioritization across people, products and projects by helping teams align on where to focus and deliver the most value
  • Strong written and verbal communications, presentation skills, and meeting facilitation skills
  • Focuses on removing Impediments/blockers and improving Delivery results

Program Management Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Waterfall and frameworks and software delivery lifecycle practices
  • Extensive experience executing and launching business to business products, including aligning teams on scope, development testing, User Acceptance Testing, and complex launches
  • Facilitates the creation and maintenance of a program roadmap, in close collaboration with Product Management, Engineering and various disciplines across the enterprise
  • Extensive experience using Excel, project governance tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence) and GANTT-based plan tools to drive and manage program initiatives
  • Experience running PI-planning sessions, scrum of scrums, and retrospectives
  • Manages critical dependencies and risks/issues within and across programs, including risk mitigation plans

The US base range for this contract position is $70-$80/hour. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
