Job Description
A creative arthouse short film titled Dollface is seeking a Sound Recordist and SFX Makeup Artist to join the production team. This project offers a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience, earn full film credit, and collaborate on a visually artistic short that will be submitted to film festivals.

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the director and crew to bring the film’s artistic vision to life.

• Sound Recordist: Capture clean, high-quality on-set audio and manage sound equipment.

• SFX Makeup Artist: Create realistic, cinematic special effects looks to enhance storytelling.

Requirements

• Based in or able to work in Los Angeles, CA.

• Must have access to personal equipment (preferred).

• Reliable, creative, and open to collaboration on an indie-style production.

Compensation

• Unpaid, but includes:

  • Festival submissions

  • Full film credit

  • Footage for your portfolio

  • Makeup supplies compensated
