Background Extras for Indie Film Scenes

Job Description:
An independent film is casting background talent for two upcoming scenes filming in the Bronx. The production is seeking extras for both a lively club atmosphere and a formal theater setting. These non-union roles are paid in cash at the end of the shoot day. The scenes will capture diverse character energy and dynamic crowd interactions in both casual and elegant environments.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Appear as part of the background crowd in club or theater scenes

  • Follow direction from the assistant director to maintain continuity and performance energy

  • Dress in appropriate wardrobe for the selected scene (club attire or formal wear)

  • Maintain professionalism and remain on set for the scheduled shoot duration

Requirements:

  • All ethnicities

  • Club Scene: Male and female, ages 18–55

    • Must be available for a full day

    • Submit best photo in club attire with contact info

  • Theater Scene: Male and female, ages 16–75

    • Half-day shoot

    • Submit photo in suit or nice dress with contact info

  • Must be able to work as a local in the Bronx

Compensation:

  • $75 for half day

  • $100 for full day

  • Paid in cash at the end of the shoot

Job Description
An upcoming Indian music video is seeking four dynamic female dancers for a high-energy, visually captivating shoot in New York City. This non-union project will feature one rehearsal day and one shoot day. Job Responsibilities

  • Perform choreographed routines during filming

  • Attend a one-day rehearsal prior to the shoot

  • Work closely with the choreographer and director to execute performance vision

  • Contribute energy and enthusiasm to the production

Requirements

  • Female, ages 18 to 35

  • 2 dancers with Indian ethnicity

  • 2 dancers with Caucasian appearance

  • Must be available for one day of rehearsal and one day of filming

  • Must be located in or able to work as a local hire in NYC

  • Dance reel and recent photo required for submission

Compensation

  • $120 total for rehearsal and shoot day

East Indian Girl Background Actor

Job Description
A Los Angeles production is casting East Indian girls ages 10–14 for a one-day background role. This kid-friendly set offers a SAG-AFTRA waiver for non-union talent and a chance to gain on-camera experience while supporting a vibrant scene.

Job Responsibilities

  • Follow assistant director cues for placement and reactions

  • Maintain continuity between takes with consistent wardrobe and behavior

  • Arrive on time with guardian supervision and positive attitude

Requirements

  • East Indian female-presenting talent, 10–14 years old

  • LA local hire able to self-report for an early call time

  • Valid work permit and parental or legal guardian on set
