Job Description
A creative team is casting talent for a spec commercial campaign inspired by the FIFA World Cup 2026. This visually driven project will showcase the energy of the World Cup blending into everyday life across San Francisco. Each role represents a different nation, highlighting authentic personalities and expressive on-screen presence. This is a passion-driven, student-led production focused on storytelling and cultural identity.

Job Responsibilities

  • Portray a character representing a specific nation in a commercial-style production
  • Deliver authentic, high-energy performances on camera
  • Participate in scenes involving sports-related activities (e.g., pool, tennis, football)
  • Collaborate with the creative team and follow direction during filming
  • Improvise and adapt naturally within scenes as needed

Requirements

  • Must be comfortable performing on camera
  • Ability to embody cultural identity or represent a nation authentically
  • Strong presence, expressive face, and confident energy
  • Must be available in San Francisco for filming
  • Comfortable with physical activity depending on role (sports-related actions)

Roles Available

  • England – British or convincingly British; confident, celebratory energy; comfortable around a pool table
  • Mexico – Multi-day role; Latin background; comfortable using a tennis racket
  • American Football Players – Athletic individuals; comfortable wearing full football gear
  • Soccer Talent – Open to all backgrounds
  • Finale Ensemble – Individuals representing Argentina, Senegal, Saudi Arabia, and other nations; high energy and comfortable improvising

Compensation

  • Unpaid
  • Copy and credit provided
  • No travel expenses covered

Job Description
A student short film is seeking a Gaffer for a one-day shoot taking place on April 11, 2026. The production is looking for a reliable and experienced lighting technician to support the director’s vision and ensure high-quality lighting on set.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design and execute lighting setups for the film
  • Collaborate with the director and camera team
  • Manage lighting equipment and ensure proper setup
  • Maintain safe and efficient on-set lighting practices

Requirements

  • Experience working as a gaffer or in lighting roles
  • Must be local to Philadelphia or able to work as a local hire
  • Ability to provide your own gear (gear list required)
  • Resume and reel required
  • Professional and reliable with strong on-set communication

Compensation

  • $150 (negotiable)
