Empire is seeking a versatile, experienced, highly-motivated Digital Marketing & Media Manager to handle Empire’s marketing plan and strategy, run all social media platforms and help enhance our marketing materials and channels as well as our brand.Â
This position requires great reactive range and versatility, and the ability to think conceptually and strategically as well as deliver original marketing & media campaigns and oversee execution.Â
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the marketing initiatives and social media strategy for Empire as well as working on marketing plans for select events and client projects.Â
Your duties will include developing social media strategy, implementing marketing plans, managing social media content, and establishing market forecasts. Responsibilities will extend also to monitoring content optimization, supervising the creation of promotional materials, website and executing social media and digital marketing campaigns, including social media key performance metrics tracking and development of budget reports.Â
Responsibilities
- Manage overall Empire’s branding: from strategy to execution, help position the brand in a competitive marketplace / industry
- Create, develop and execute collateral materials, social media campaigns, and other special initiatives related to the company (ie. 30th anniversary)
- Manage website, including establishing KPIs and ensuring regional teams adhere to brand guidelines.
- Manage online media assets for the website: HTML newsletters and any social media posts.
- Manage brand presences through all paid, owned, and earned digital media including developing social strategies for SEM.
- Develop and manage marketing programs and partner integration when needed.
- Maintain and update the company Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn pages along with e-newsletters.
- Develop marketing strategies for increasing views on website and Vimeo channels.
- Report ROI on organizational and campaign level to senior executives.
- Implement advertising tracking procedures to evaluate ROI and maximize campaign performance
- Optimize user experience to increase new clients by analyzing key performance indicators and A/B testing results to refine acquisition funnel.
- Manage PR agency or any other marketing related vendorÂ
- Manage media buys and determine appropriate media spendÂ
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years professional experience as a marketing manager, ideally for creative agencies
- Strong experience and familiarity with eventsÂ
- Strong writing skills
- Background in communications and marketing strategy as well as executionÂ
- Strong portfolio of marketing and social media campaigns
- Mastery of social media platforms management (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Google Drive Suite, Dropbox and Slack
- Ability to organize and curate photos, videos and other media content and assets to optimizeÂ
- Graphic designer skills are not required but are a plusÂ

The regular work week will run M-F 10:00am-6:00pm. Please note that in-person attendance in the New York office is required on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays and is subject to change. In addition to the weekly office schedule, attendance and onsite participation at events is often required.

We are seeking intelligent, organized, resourceful and energetic NYC-based candidates to support the Empire Entertainment team in the creation and management of live and virtual events. The successful candidate will be able to complete large volumes of varied tasks, work diligently and with appropriate urgency, communicate efficiently and effectively with the teams one is supporting, and creatively solve challenges that arise within the day-to-day work of event production.

Responsibilities
- Support Producers in coordinating, planning, managing, and producing events
- Conduct research for event elements including potential venues, talent, entertainment, guest services, innovative event and décor concepts, new technologies, branding initiatives, permitting requirements, etc., and update company databases with all new information
- Support Producers in building venue, talent, and creative proposals for new and current clients
- Lead and produce project elements or segments, scope pending on project needs – including reporting directly to clients on planning and progress (under the guidance of the Producer)
- Work with Producers to draft proposals, budgets, production schedules, run of shows, and other deliverables documents and more
- Take and circulate notes for all project calls as well as track all emails and update master project documents accordingly (often supported by a project coordinator)
- Track all project deliverables
- Assist Producers in the coordinating and scheduling of all project meetings and calls
- Contract project-based vendors and freelancers, coordinate payments and invoicing
- Work onsite through load-in, event, and load-out, overseeing various components of events and / or vendors efficiently, and with professionalism
- Oversee staffing plan on projects assigned, for onsite (or virtual) staff, conducting walkthroughs, training, etc.
- Work with Producers to draft case studies on completed projects to live on company website

Qualifications
- 2-3 years experience in the event and entertainment industry Â
- NYC-based applicants
- Extensive knowledge of the event production process, and with standard event documents such as production schedules, run of shows, etc.Â
- Excellent organization skills and the ability to follow-up and complete tasks in a timely and responsible manner
- Proficient in vendor contracts (being able to work with talent contracts is a plus)
- Positive can-do attitude with strong initiative, follow through, and attention to detail
- Creative problem-solver with an ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as Google Drive and DropboxÂ
- Eagerness and ability to work long hours onsite, managing small teams and event components with composure and professionalism
- Familiarity with and / or interest in current musical, theatrical and comedy talent, is a plus
- Familiarity with NYC-based production vendors is a plus
- Familiarity with virtual events on various platforms is a plus
