We are looking for a modern take on art direction, someone with maker creator attitude and skills. The person needs to be a social platform champion; it won’t hurt if they have a bit of a fan following on the gram or if they’re TikTok famous.
The Art Director would report to our Associate Creative Director.
Responsibilities:
- Art direction efforts for our clients with a keen eye and brain for strategy, storytelling and craftsmanship in all media spaces but most specifically the one that comes to life on your phone.
- You must also possess a strong interest in innovation and technology, comfortable in using and working in new ways and with new tools.
- Consistent implementation of our clients’ brand guidelines
- Cross-collaboration between producers, developers and copywriters
- Articulating ideas clearly and simply to our clients. The desire to teach and mentor is a must.
- Responsible for maintaining a brand’s identity – how the visual, verbal and execution come together to create a holistic experience.
- Presenting to clients and communicating your vision for their campaign on brief and on time.
Requirements:
- 4-7 years of experience as an Art Director in an advertising or social platform environment.
- Expert in Adobe Suite: Photoshop a must. After Effects would be a nice bonus.
- A strong portfolio that showcases the above qualities.
- Experience in working (and playing) on or with social media platforms.
- Proficient across all media but with a particular passion for social and digital media.
- Bring large brand experience and/or genuine creative ideas to the table. Originality is key.
- Solid presentation skills.
- Curiosity for new technologies and emerging trends.
- Highly responsible, collaborative and self-motivated.
- Works enthusiastically, respectfully and collaboratively with other project team members, has a clear understanding of how a project team operates, their responsibilities throughout a project and what is expected.
- Interest in what makes good work, work (creativity and performance).
- Mentor, grow young creative talent.
- Preferably Atlanta Based.

The Creative Director (CD) serves as the principle creative lead and manages a team on one or more major accounts.
The Creative Director (CD) serves as the principle creative lead and manages a team consisting of Art Directors, Designers, Copywriters, and Content Creators on one or more major accounts. They are responsible for directing all phases of creative work for assigned accounts from concept development through production, for inspiring and motivating creative teams, and are accountable for developing and directing creative work of the highest caliber. The CD assists in the management of the creative department through project planning and staffing estimation, Creative staff evaluations and coaching.
- Responsible for creating on-brand, on-strategy compelling creative website work for assigned clients
- Responsible for mentoring and leading assigned creative staff and being available to critique their work to maintain consistent creative quality and award winning work
- Actively participates in assigned new business development efforts, leading creative teams and developing client response materials
- Works directly with client managers, project managers, user experience leads, and technical directors on assigned projects
Required Skills:
- Strong people management and coaching skills to provide clear creative direction and to motivate and inspire creative teams
- Understand user-centered design and development processes, with an emphasis on extending brands across a broad range of customer segments

What you’ll be doing for us…
- Lead the development of communication plans and digital strategies aligned to brand strategy.
- Distill complex client challenges into actionable and single-minded strategic solutions that lead to inspiring briefs and creative solutions.
- Orchestrate brand planning, communication planning, and analytical activity in partnership with data science, creative, and account management teams.
- Lead and develop targeted digital marketing strategies and recommendations across different formats (social media, OLV, audio and display advertising).

- Understanding of monitoring and measurement of creative ideas, media, and other client programs.
