This production is requiring all cast & crew to be FULLY vaccinated against COVID-19 and to be considered for work you MUST FALL INTO EITHER OF THE TWO FOLLOWING CATEGORIES: (1) fully vaccinated with the COVID-19 vaccine (Pfizer, Moderna, or Johnson & Johnson) or (2) have a disability or sincerely held religious belief that prevents vaccination.

Storyline: Benjamin, a working class gay man living in Toronto, struggles to obtain expensive healthcare after being assaulted by a stranger.

ROLES

• [MALCOLM] 25 to 45 years old, all ethnicities male. Malcolm is a tall, strong man with a beautiful smile who is sensitive and in touch with his emotions. Malcolm is HIV positive but is undetectable and lives a healthy life, but is still unpacking some trauma surrounding his experience. He works as a handyman and plumber and has a steady income, and is therefore looking for something more serious when it comes to romantic relationships. He is kind, sensitive, but a bit guarded. He likes to work with his hands. 4-5 DAYS. $300.00/day. NOTE: Partial nudity required – Actor will be topless, and buttocks shown from behind. One short scene where implied intimacy is required. LEAD
• [ARIEL] 25 to 39 years old, all ethnicities gender fluid/non-binary person. Ariel is Benjamin’s best friend who is queer and gender-fluid. They are bubbly, colourful, fun, effervescent, sarcastic and the most loyal friend anyone could ask for. They are empathetic, but aren’t afraid to tell people the truth or express what they think about any given situation. No Nudity Required. 4 – 5 DAYS. $180.00/day PRINCIPAL
• [OSCAR] 25 to 39 years old, all ethnicities male. Oscar is a “bad boy” who is charming but a bit careless. He is Benjamin’s ex-boyfriend and they used to make music and tour together. He is handsome, but a bit rough, and he likes to show off his body whenever he gets a chance. Oscar jumps from relationship to relationship and often has trouble staying loyal to one person. 1 DAY. $180.00/day. Casting a quirky TV Host, actor, comedian or performer with a natural sense of curiosity and a hunger for knowledge to host a weekly studio-based show that showcases the odd and often gross history behind the origins of everyday objects.   If you like the fact that toothbrushes used to be made out of pig hair, then this is the show for you.   

Our Ideal host has a unique look and entertaining personality.  Host is good with improv and has the ability to own the room. They are curious, intelligent and opinionated with lots of charisma and a good sense of humor.   

Experienced hosts as well as out-of-the box actors and performers with character are all encouraged to apply.   

Looking for kids and teens to portray foster children in a photoshoot. The photographs will be used as reference material in a portrait series detailing the struggles of children forgotten by the system. This is a university student let project. 

Looking for: 
Boys and Girls aged 3-14

Must be comfortable in front of a camera. 
Photoshoot to be held in February 2022. 
Proposed dates are 2/12/22 and 2/13/22 but are subject to change. 
Each talent and their guardian will be able to choose the first or second date based on their availability. They will only need to attend one photoshoot date.

Our number one priority is safety. A parent or guardian must stay with the child for the duration of the photoshoot. (About 45 minutes-1 Hour) If restrictions are still in place at this time, per New York law, talent and their guardian will be expected to wear a mask while entering the building. 

The photoshoot is set to be held downtown in the financial district. More information on location will be given if the child is cast. 

You will electronically receive high quality photos for your portfolio by email about a week after the photoshoot. By auditioning you recognize and understand that this is a non-profit student run campaign, therefore payment is to be given in the form of fully edited HD photos for you and your child to use in his/her portfolio.
