Healthcare Commercial Casting Call
Casting: 20 Non-Union/Non-Speaking Principal RolesÂ
Ages 9-72 years FOR A HEALTHCARE COMMERCIAL
Shooting Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvannia
Date: August 18-22, 2022.
All should be able to work any day that week.
Some talent may be needed for two days.
Rates: $1000/day for 1 Year buyout
- Fitting for those within 150 miles of Pittsburgh on August 17th – $300
- Those beyond 150 miles of Pittsburgh will be fitted on the shoot day.
Mileage will be provided for those outside of the 150 mile radius but within driving distance of Pittsburgh – No hotel or per diem.
COVID PROTOCOLS: VAXXES ARE NOT MANDATORY, however
the client would prefer talent to be fully vaxxed with at least 1 booster BUT If you do not have these vaccinations, they will require the talent to provide production with a negative covid PCR test done 2 days prior to their first day of shooting.
Self-tape direction:
Slate on a head to toe shot, face the camera, smile and say your name, role, city, and agent (if you have one) and if you are 56-72 yrs, please also let us know if you are a good/confident swimmer and are ok to wear a bathing suit in a scene. Then stop and reset the camera (or move towards camera) into a medium shot (waist or chest up) and answer the question:
WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE VACATION AND WHY?
- 60 seconds or so is fine.
- When sending your self-tapes, please also INCLUDE a recent headshot and full length still photo (well-lit smart phone smiling photos are fine if you don’t have a professional photos. No hats or sunglasses please).
WE ARE CASTING: Men and Women (25-72 yrs) and Children (9-12 yrs) – white, black, hispanic, bi-racial and ethnically ambiguous.
(20) roles in the following age ranges are available and the director will choose which role that he would like booked talent to play, such as doctor, patient, visitor, health care worker, park goer, swimmer (56-72 year olds only – please note in your slate if you are a good swimmer) or school age child.
Note: when you say your role name it should be one of the age ranges listed below. (For instance one would say, Hi I am Jane Smith for the 9-12 Year old girl). Then answer the question: What was your favorite vacation and why?)

Electronics Brand Commercial Casting Call
Jessica Jefferies Casting is looking for the UK-based, female-identifying performer to join the team at Doppelganger Studios for an exciting, live performance capture experience.
Our performer should be native Taiwanese and speak fluent Taiwanese and Mandarin. They should also be able to speak fluent English, as they will be working with an English director and creative team.
Doppelganger Studios are working with a global cosmetic electronic brand to produce life, presented shopping experience to be broadcast across online media platforms. Our performers will use performance capture technology as they deliver 20-30 minutes of the live, scripted piece in a virtual environment. Our character is bright, happy, cheerful, and professional.
Female identifying performer
- Playing age: ’30’s.
- Must speak fluent Taiwanese, Mandarin, and English
- Must be based in the United Kingdom
- You will work in a performance capture suit with a virtual set.
- Experience in learning and working with scripted contacts is a must.
- Experience in working with live broadcasts or performances is a bonus.

- This is a NON-UNION project. No acting experience is required, however, you should be outgoing and comfortable being filmed and interviewed.

- If shortlisted, you MUST be available for a brief online interview with the director on July 29th.
- If selected, you MUST be available for a COVID test between August 7th or 8th. You will only be required briefly on one day.
- If selected, you MUST be available for a wardrobe appointment on August 8th.
- If selected, you MUST be available for the photoshoot session on August 12th.
- If booked, you will each receive $500 for the photoshoot session. If your footage is in the final campaign, you will receive an additional $2,500 – 6,500 depending on where it is used.

- Should be someone who can do an impressive floor routine.
- Must be someone who has competed in gymnastic competitions at a high level.
- You will be required to do a portion of an expert level floor routine convincingly on our shoot day.

For the Audition part: This gymnast has been recovering from an orthopedic procedure and being able to get back on her feet and get back into the gym is very important to her. This is her first time practicing her routine since recovering. She walks to the corner of the mat, takes a deep breath, looks up and then explodes into her routine. After performing, she takes a breath and then she explodes with a big smile of confidence.
