Job Details: We are currently casting for an exciting promotional video for Paramount+ RuPaul’s Drag Race Smirnoff. This is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of a high-energy project celebrating diversity and self-expression. We are looking for talented individuals who are enthusiastic, confident, and comfortable in their own skin.

Job Responsibilities: Selected candidates will be a part of a vibrant and engaging promotional video for Paramount+ RuPaul’s Drag Race Smirnoff. The specific responsibilities for each role are as follows:

1. Attractive Muscular Men (Ages 25-35):

• Must be outgoing and confident.
• Comfortable wearing revealing clothing if required.
• Exhibit enthusiasm and high energy on set.

2. Alt/Punk Types (Ages 25-35):

• Individuals with alternative and punk aesthetics, including shaved heads, numerous tattoos, piercings, face piercings, and lip piercings.
• Gender-inclusive: Could be female, male, non-binary, or any other gender identity.
• Express unique and vibrant personality.

Requirements:

• All candidates must be NYC local.
• Availability from 12/3 to 12/5 is mandatory.
• A positive attitude and the ability to take direction from the production team.
• Must be 25-35 years old for both roles.
• Applicants for the Alt/Punk types should have the specified alternative look.

Compensation: Selected candidates will be compensated for their participation in the promotional video. Compensation details will be discussed with the chosen individuals upon selection.

Casting Call: Animation Director – CAPE Animation Directors Accelerator (CADA)

Job Details: CAPE (Coalition of Asian Pacifics in Entertainment) is thrilled to announce its partnership with Sony Pictures Entertainment for the CAPE Animation Directors Accelerator (CADA) program. This groundbreaking initiative is dedicated to discovering and empowering the next generation of animation storytellers and leaders.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with industry experts, executives, and creatives in the animation field through a series of panels, workshops, and masterclasses.
• Develop and refine artistic and leadership skills crucial for success in feature film and episodic animation.
• Participate in mentorship sessions to gain valuable insights and guidance from seasoned professionals.
• Create and present projects that showcase your directorial vision and storytelling abilities.
• Network with fellow rising animation directors to build lasting connections within the industry.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated passion and talent for animation with a strong portfolio of work.

• Proven interest in API (Asian and Pacific Islander) cultures and a commitment to amplifying API voices in animation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Compensation:

• This is a non-paid program; participation is voluntary.
• However, selected animation directors will gain invaluable experience, mentorship, and industry exposure through this unique opportunity.
• Participants will receive a certificate of completion from CAPE and Sony Pictures Entertainment.

Sony Pictures Entertainment is casting a major motion picture with martial arts co-starring Jackie Chan

WE ARE SEEKING:

Ll FONG: Male, to portray Chinese and play 17 years old. He speaks fluent American English. Conversational Mandarin is a strong plus. He’s smart, scrappy, and a skilled fighter. Martial arts training is a strong plus…A LEAD ROLE

Candidates must be over 18 years old by August 15th, 2023 and should be able to portray a 17 year old convincingly

The Castaways

We are looking to cast Fijian roles in the new Paramount+ series THE CASTAWAYS

There’s a number of roles, some non-speaking, some small speaking roles and a few good supporting roles. Ages range between 18-60, male and female.

The series will shoot between the 15th of May to 15th of July- a large part of the series will shoot in Greece and later scenes in Fiji- so you must have a valid passport

These are paid roles in line with the UK Equity PACT agreement (as this is a UK produced series), all flights, accommodation/ travel costs etc will be covered by production.

We are looking for people with a Fijian Cultural Heritage.
