Job Description:

Cherrix Casting is seeking new faces or individuals who have not yet worked with us in 2024 for a small scene in the production “Strawberry Fields.” We are looking for male extras aged 18-40 to join us for a day of filming.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in a small scene as an extra, following directions from the production team.

Project Description:

1. Town People with Cars:

   • Number Needed: 10
   • Description: Portray town residents. Must have a vehicle and be willing to use it in a scene. Will also work an additional scene.
   • Requirements: Own a vehicle and be available for filming on June 4th.

Responsibilities:

• Arrive on set on time and ready to work.
• Follow directions from the director and production team.
• Maintain professionalism and adhere to the character roles as instructed.

Casting Call: Stand-Ins Needed for Upcoming Episodes

Job Details: Strawberry Fields and Cherrix Casting are seeking dedicated and flexible male and female stand-ins for our upcoming episodes. Candidates must have an open and adaptable schedule as filming can be affected by last-minute changes due to weather or production needs.

Job Responsibilities:

• Act as a stand-in for principal actors during rehearsals, lighting setups, and camera blocking.
• Maintain similar physical characteristics to the actors to ensure consistency in the visual setup.
• Follow directions from the director, cinematographer, and other production staff.
• Be punctual and ready to work long hours, typically a 12-hour day, with potential last-minute schedule changes.

Requirements:

• Must be available from June 6 through July, with a highly flexible schedule.
• Previous stand-in experience and/or acting experience/training preferred.
• Current photo showing accurate hair length and color.
• Male Stand-In: Open diversity and ethnicity, ages 21-55, height 5’7″ and taller.

Casting Call: The Hunting Wives

Job Detail: We are currently seeking individuals with vehicles from the 1980s to 1990s to participate in filming for our upcoming project, “The Hunting Wives.” This is a unique opportunity to have your car featured in our flashback trailer park scenes. Beater type cars are highly desirable!

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide and operate your vehicle on set for filming.

• Follow directions from the production team to position your vehicle as required.

• Maintain the appearance of your vehicle to match the 80s-90s era aesthetic.

• Be available for the specified filming date and times.

Requirements:

• Must own a vehicle from the 1980s to 1990s.

• Vehicles should preferably have a worn or “beater” appearance.

• Availability on 5/29 for filming.

• Must be reliable and punctual.

Casting Call for “The Hunting Wives” – Funeral Scene Extras

Job Details: We are currently seeking background extras for the filming of “The Hunting Wives,” specifically for a key funeral scene. This scene will be filmed in a church setting, capturing a somber and respectful atmosphere.

Casting Call for “The Hunting Wives” – 90’s Cops (Flashback Scene)

Job Details

We are seeking two male actors to portray 1990s-era police officers for a flashback scene in the upcoming series “The Hunting Wives.” The scene will be filmed in Charlotte, NC.

Roles Available:

• 2 Male Actors
• Age: 25-45
• Ethnicity: Any
• Look: Authentic 90’s appearance preferred (haircuts, facial hair, etc.)

Job Responsibilities

• Portray 90’s Cops: Perform the role of police officers from the 1990s, accurately reflecting the time period.
• Take Direction: Follow the instructions and direction given by the director and production team.
• Participate in Scene: Actively engage in the scene’s activities, maintaining character throughout filming.

Requirements

• Availability: Must be available on Wednesday, May 29th for the entire day.
• Experience: Previous acting experience preferred but not required.
• Appearance: Should not be any male actors who have appeared frequently or recently this season on “The Hunting Wives.”

Job Detail: We are currently casting background actors (BG) for a shoot scheduled on Thursday, May 30th. This casting call involves two different scenes with two different approximated call times. We generally work a 12-hour day, although you may finish in less than 12 hours.

Job Responsibilities:

• Participate as a background actor in the assigned scenes.
• Arrive on set at the designated call time.
• Follow directions from the director and production team.
• Wear attire that fits the scene description (business and conservative types).
• If applying for the scene requiring a vehicle, ensure the vehicle fits the specified criteria and provide necessary details and pictures.
