Casting Call: Stand-In Actors for Film Production
Job Description: We are currently seeking professional stand-in actors for an upcoming film project starting November 27th, 2023, through early May 2024. Stand-ins are crucial for lighting and camera blocking on set, requiring individuals who closely match the physical attributes of specific actors.
Responsibilities:
- Stand-in for actors during technical preparations, including lighting and camera setup.
- Work closely with the film crew to ensure accurate scene setups.
- Maintain a consistent presence on set for the duration of the filming schedule.
- Be prepared for a full day’s work, which can sometimes extend beyond standard hours.
Requirements:
- Available from November 27th, 2023, through early May 2024, with a one-week break at Christmas.
- Availability for a stand-in audition on Friday, November 17th (time TBD).
- Commitment to a Monday to Friday filming schedule, with occasional Saturdays.
- Physical characteristics: Caucasian male, height 5’10” to 6’, weight approximately 170 to 180 lbs, ages 30s to 40s, blond/dark blond hair, and clean-shaven.
- Previous experience as a stand-in or in extra work is preferred but not mandatory.
Compensation:
- $167 per 8-hour day, with time and a half for hours worked beyond 8.
- Typical filming days are 12 hours, occasionally longer.
- A complimentary, quality lunch is provided daily.
Casting Call: Stand-In Actor for Film Production

The production is scheduled to commence filming on November 27th, 2023, and will continue through early May 2024, with a break during Christmas week.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the director, cinematographer, and other crew members to assist in setting up scenes.
- Stand in for actors to allow technical preparations for lighting, camera angles, and scene setup.
- Be available for the entire duration of the shooting schedule, which runs Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays.
- Maintain professionalism and punctuality on set.
- Follow directions from the crew and adapt to changes in the shooting schedule as needed.
Requirements:
- Must match the following physical characteristics:
- Ethnicity: Latino
- Height: Between 5’11” and 6’1″
- Weight: Between 200 to 235 pounds
- Age Range: 30s to 50s
- Appearance: Bald and clean-shaven
- Must be available from late November 2023 through early May 2024.
- Prior experience as a stand-in or extra is preferred but not mandatory.
- Must be able to commit to a full-time filming schedule, including potential overtime and occasional weekend work.
Compensation:
- Rate: $167 for an 8-hour day.
- Overtime: Time and a half for hours worked beyond 8 hours per day.
- Typical filming days are 12 hours, sometimes longer.

Responsibilities
- Assist with full scope of production including research, booking, pre-interviewing
- Digital journalism including shooting video and stills, and editing skills are required
- Write and produce segments, broadcast and online stories and produce live shots
- Gather visual elements and assist with editing for segment production
- Coordinate with technical and operations staff and outside resources selected by producers

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Must have at least two years editorial production experience at a network, cable or digital outlet.
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree.
- Must have developed digital journalism skills for laptop editing, shooting, latakoo, live-u.
- Must be social media savvy & proficient in finding, attracting, licensing, and tracking user generated content
- Must be willing and able to work flexible hours, under tight deadline pressure, including breaking news.
- Must be able to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift with little or no notice if needed.
- Must be willing to travel
