The Role:
Time is hiring an Associate Video Producer to help create compelling short-form documentaries and series for a variety of platforms, including social-first programming.
The successful candidate will be an integral part of this team, reporting to and working directly with the rest of the video team in a highly collaborative and creative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Research, pitch, produce, film and edit video as directed by senior department leadership.
- Collaborate with editors and reporters – staff and freelance – to identify key news stories and plan video coverage.
- Work with reporters and editors to produce videos and embed related video content in stories on the site.
- Assist in the production of video by pulling archival materials, conducting research and background reporting, subtitling, transcribing, creating SRTs, recording, archiving and other tasks associated with video production.
- Collaborate with the social media and audience team for promotion on off-site social platforms.
- Pitch and book live streams for site and social media.
- Strategize with team for on-site presentation of Time videos
- Collaborate with editors and reporters to identify key news stories and plan video coverage
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of relevant video journalism experience.
- Must possess comprehensive knowledge of Adobe Premiere and a strong working knowledge of Photoshop, and collaborative tools like Google Drive and Airtable.
- Reporting, scripting, story development experience is key to this role as well as an ability to collaborate with colleagues in the newsroom.
- Ability to operate independently in the field when necessary.
- Sound news judgment and a strong eye for visual presentation
- Willingness to travel for on-location shoots
Preferred Qualifications:
- Field production/camera skills expected although this is not primarily a field-based role.
- Ability to set up a studio shoot, camera, audio, lighting, seamless, etc.
- Knowledge of how to use social media to find sources and seek out and distribute video
- Sound news judgement and curiosity about current events

Job Brief:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Video Production & Editing Specialist to support our marketing, filming and video editing needs. The Video Production & Editing Specialist will be in charge of seeing video projects through from concept development to post-production & delivery.
Reports to:Â Marketing Director
Responsibilities:
- Maintain our in-house, state-of-the-art studio and all camera, audio and lighting equipment
- Coordinate with partner’s assistants to schedule webinars and filming dates
- Take lead on the video production and recording for all webinars and interviews, including troubleshooting and accommodating preferences as needed
- Collaborate with internal team members and external partners and clients to design and implement video projects
- Scope video project requirements and provide budget information to leadership
- Develop detailed project plans for video projects and monitor progress
- Explore and communicate creative ideas to improve current videos and potential future
video projects to promote MinistrySafe and Abuse Prevention Systems’ products and services
- Manage YouTube and Vimeo accounts and keep them updated and organized
- Deliver projects on time, ensuring quality and brand standards are met
- Oversee technical support documentation including requirement specifications
- Assist with technical issues on projects, such as video calls
- Conduct all edits to videos and ensure newest versions are updated on websites

The Video Production Specialist II will work within Zebra’s Global Demand Center to serve as video producer and editor. This person will be responsible for all aspects of video production, from preproduction (script and storyboard creation), production (video shooting, lighting, and sound), to postproduction (editing). The Video Production Specialist II will work closely with the global demand center, global product marketing, branding, public relations, and internal communications to build and deliver best-in class video while working on new and innovative video formats to best tell the Zebra story.

- Under minimal instruction, manages all aspects of the video creation process, from pre-production concepting, scripts, storyboarding and timelines, to post-production editing.
- Collaborates with outsourced production talent, including videographer, sound and lighting for each program.
- Maintains final assets in a common digital asset management system.
- Works closely with internal clients in the global demand center, global product marketing, branding, public relations and internal communications to meet their video production needs.
- Explores new and innovative video formats to expand Zebra’s social presence.
Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- 2 + years of experience with a proven record of producing high quality video content, from concepting to completion, at an agency or production company
Skills and Competencies:
- Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, Premiere Pro and Audition software
- Motion graphic and animation experience a plus
- A record of success managing production teams and guiding a variety of video formats
- Highly creative with the willingness to continually explore new creative paths
- Demonstrating a collaborative, cross-functional approach for planning and problem solving
