Music Video Casting Call for Crackheads

We’re looking for men between the ages 25-50 to play crackheads for a music video.

This is shooting start of February in London.

Paid role. 

World Central Kitchen, Inc. (WCK) seeks a talented and committed part-time Assistant Video Editor to join the organization’s growing Communications Department. Part of an amazing Communications team, the successful candidate must have a deep dedication to World Central Kitchen’s mission, possess excellent video creation and editing skills, thrive in a dynamic environment, and have a demonstrated ability to provide key administrative support in managing media content. This role is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic storytelling team focused on bringing WCK’s mission to audiences around the world.

This role reports directly to the Content Director and will work closely with WCK’s Communications Team and WCK’s external core video team, What Took You So Long?. It is a part-time non-exempt position working approximately 3 days (24 hours) per week, all in-person at our DC office.

Requirements

Editing (70%)

  • Support both pre- and post-production in a variety of short-form video projects
  • Support the post-production of video content for final films. Examples include:

  • Proactively pitch ideas based on creative new storytelling opportunities using our archives
  • Uphold WCK’s media style and branding, ensuring consistency and a high-quality standard across all projects
  • Edit together stringout footage for press, partners, and internal stakeholders

Administrative (30%)

  • Ensure we receive hard drives of all photo and video footage when shooting is complete
  • Support Content Director to provide direction for footage and stories
  • Manage production of video projects
  • Maintain, organize, and catalog WCK’s archive of footage and media
  • Assist the Communications Team including by managing the organization’s YouTube channel

Key Qualifications & Experience

  • 2-3 years of experience in video editing
  • Proficiency in Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere
  • Familiarity with Adobe Lightroom and Kyno
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with quick turnaround times

Preferred candidates will also have related experience in a non-profit, be able to communicate in Spanish, and have prior experience in the field during relief operations.

Film and Video Operator and Editor- US Army Enlistment Required

Enlist as a soldier into the United States Army and become a certified Combat documentation/production specialists responsible for supervising, planning and operating electronic and film-based still, video and audio acquisition equipment in order to document combat and noncombat operations. This is NOT a civilian contractor position.

Enlist for this particular role – this is not a general US Army enlistment.

This Administrative Assistant is a key member of the creative Film Music team reporting to the Senior Vice President of Film Music and Vice President of Film Music Production. This Administrative Assistant will be working in a fast paced, demanding work environment and be responsible for maintaining a smooth workflow for various key members of the Film Music team.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Heavy phone management, roll calls, provide notes for calls as requested
  • Maintain & coordinate schedules for the members stated above, compile & submit expense reports, create reports & materials for meetings
  • Coordinate executive, project & scoring related travel, organize & file contracts and other administrative duties as needed
  • Liaise daily with colleagues at record labels, publishers, music management companies, talent agencies, etc.
  • Assist project executives as needed with music research projects & music searches & collection of outside music submissions
  • Research song information to complete clearance forms for licensing department
  • Coordinate and distribute scripts, subsequent drafts/pages to department
  • Assist in maintaining internal & external department distribution lists
  • Work synergistically with other team members in maintaining and updating the department’s new music drive
  • Help maintain film music budgets (source & score production) and song breakdown reports
  • Ensure all invoice amounts and details are properly reflected in music budgets and filed in their respective project folders
  • Assist with vendor set-up and follow up with vendors and accountants as needed to ensure payments have been made
  • Route invoices for payment
  • Track costs in Music Budgets
  • Send SAG/AFTRA singer session reports and corresponding paperwork to accounting for processing
  • Assist with creating and updating internal documents
  • Vet and route all AFM New-Use claims

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook
  • iTunes and Mac proficiency
  • Minimum of 2 years administrative experience ideally in the music for film or television industry
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail is a must

Access Hollywood Digital is hiring an Associate Digital Video Producer who will be a part of our growing team of digital video producers/editors and writers. If you love entertainment news, are a super snappy writer and editor, who is also a pro at editing digital video quickly, this is the role for you.

This job entails producing and editing content for web platforms end-to-end. The ideal candidate is a digital journalist who is experienced in writing scripts, reporting and sourcing information, collecting assets, producing and editing digital video, and posting it on social platforms. A passion for entertainment news, celebrities and pop culture is a definite must.

The ideal candidate is creative, adaptable, and very fast at writing and creating digital video content. The ideal candidate can handle breaking entertainment news and is just as fluent creating fluff entertainment stories as they are at breaking down complex, legal and entertainment news stories. The ideal candidate should also be adept at writing articles, creating galleries and other types of entertainment news website content.

Job duties include creating entertainment news digital video for consumption on platforms like YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and AccessOnline.com. These digital-first news stories are created by YOU from start to finish – meaning you’re responsible for collecting assets, VO’ing scripts, editing the video and publishing it across multiple digital platforms. Required responsibilities would include covering events in the areas of Georgia, South Carolina, Florida, Washington D.C., and sometimes in New York City.

The ideal candidate should have prior experience in entertainment video production, proven video editing skills, and a clear understanding of the key difference between traditional media and digital-first content.

On-camera talent is not required for this role, but experience behind the camera, working as a reporter/producer/journalist on red carpets or entertainment-related events is a plus.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Create at least 3 digital video stories per day, often under tight news-driven deadlines
  • Cut short form digital video in under 3 hours from end-to-end: Collecting reporting, writing the script, collecting assets/b-roll, producing and editing video, and posting it on social and web platforms
  • Edit with ease in Adobe Premiere, AfterEffects or AVID
  • Optimize video formats for distribution – be able to create concise, interesting stories with a fun voice
  • Optimize content for social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube
  • Post video on social media channels
  • On occasion, write articles and create galleries to be posted on-site
  • Do red carpet interviews; shoot crisp, clean footage on DSLR camera
  • Collect clear audio in the field and in the studio
  • Take assignments from the Managing Editor daily
  • Contribute to team brainstorms by pitching content ideas that will help build video views, on-site and off-site traffic and audience

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

  • BA or BS from a four-year accredited college or university or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience creating content for digital platforms
  • Working experience with the Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects.), knowledge of Photoshop is a must
  • Working experience with AVID
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Strong copy-editing skills, ability to self-edit your own work
  • Must be able to work under extremely tight deadlines
