In the future, freedom has a steep price. Sam and Birdie are siblings living in the deadly favelas of New Rio, trying to scrape together enough money for passage to one of the orbital cities in the sky — cities where food is plentiful, water runs clean, and the 1% reign supreme. The two are eager to use their skill as thieves and scrap metal engineers to survive, but the world is about to teach them a lesson the hard way: in this life, everything you get or take comes at a cost.

Currently, we are expecting 2-3 shoot days in Los Angeles, CA for both roles. If selected, the rate for each actor is 1k + 10% for an 8-hour shoot day. Dates are TBD but we are aiming to begin filming in May.

Brenda is taking submissions for a show that will take Covid Test Monday (3/13) to Work Wednesday (3/15) in LA area.

We are starting to cast the Afghanistan scenes for The Old Man.

We are starting to test on Monday, and we will try on Weds to start work for the season, which begins on Monday, March 21st.  

We are starting with casting men and hiring people to work throughout the season. One of those situations where we will release a large pool of people and check with you when we get shooting schedules. This will work intermittently for the next few months in Santa Clarita. The call times will probably be early on this show because we have so much to shoot.  

Below is what we are casting right now — we are only releasing men now; the women will be fitting in a week or so:

We are looking for men with beards, but I am taking submissions for both bearded and not bearded.

• Ages 40-60, to be one of our “Shyp Logistics” working the following dates with a fitting and Covid testing prior. 

Working: March 15th and 16th

Covid testing: 24-48 hours before filming. 

Fitting: TOMORROW, 3/13

Testing: TODAY, 3/12, by 7 pm

We are looking for Vaccinated Males, Ages 40-60 years old! MUST be available for both shoot days and a fitting prior with Covid testing before both. 

This production requires vaccinations.

U: $100 Covid test bump
