Our workplace is extremely collaborative and you will be working with the creative team (3 copywriters, 6 graphic designers, 4 video editors, and 3 influencer managers) to upload new ads and sales copy into facebook ad manager. This position will help manage over $100,000 dollars per day in digital ad spend.

The Role:

Moonbug Entertainment is looking for a full-time experienced development producer to join the growing production team in Los Angeles. This position will play a significant role in further growing the global success seen across all our brands, in particular Cocomelon and Blippi.

The successful candidate will have knowledge of CGI animation and have the ability to oversee and coordinate multiple bids as well as identify new studios to work alongside. Working in the fast paced and rapidly expanding environment of Moonbug they will bring an outstanding commercial awareness as well as expert consultancy skills. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator and be proficient at handling budgets, scheduling, resourcing and planning.

Reporting into the VP, Head of Production based in London, the candidate will also work closely with the creative team in order to interpret the creative brief whilst producing budget and schedule. You will be expected to liaise with the commercial team and help prepare them for their conversations with external commissioners, platforms and funding bodies. This will involve interpreting the creative pitch, creating a budget and schedule for the project, liaising with animation / production houses to ensure the information is accurate and presenting to other departments within the company.

We work with studios from all over the world and collaborate with our team in London, so flexibility and openness to coordinate with different time zones is a must.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience within animation and content production
  • Budgeting and scheduling experience is essential
  • Must have experience in both short form, long form and series
  • Live action production experience is not essential, but would be highly beneficial

The Role:

Moonbug Entertainment Limited is looking for a full-time Senior Director, Production to join the growing production team in London. This position will play a significant role in carrying on the global success seen in our brands Morphle, Gecko, Arpo and Supa Strikas.

The role will involve taking an overview and providing management support for several of our show producers based in London & LA, while implementing best practices and processes. It is crucial that you are highly organized and able to work independently across multiple projects, so good time management and prioritization will be expected.

In this position, you will be working closely with the creative team, senior producers, internal production teams and the studios responsible for producing the content. We work with studios from all over the world and collaborate with our team in LA, so flexibility and openness to coordinate with different time zones is a must.

The candidate will be a committed and adaptable individual with excellent interpersonal skills. You must excel at communicating with both internal teams and external clients, while also being able to multitask and manage with integrity and a smile.

Moonbug is seeking a full-time Music Production Coordinator to support the Production team and liaise with the music distribution team. This role is based in our West Hollywood office in the heart of California. At Moonbug, you will be working with some of the biggest brands in family entertainment; one of the fastest-growing genres in music.

We would like to see someone who has been working in some sort of production capacity, however, this role could also suit someone with great organizational and musical skills that wants to step into the production world.

Reporting to the Music Production Managers, you will be coordinating the music production for multiple children’s brands and will be able to organize assets including audio stems, cue sheets, budgets, purchase orders, and contracts on time for delivery deadlines.

  • Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously – ensuring audio and metadata are complete and all necessary approvals are finalized by MPMs.

Primary Responsibilities

Moonbug is seeking a Finance Assistant to support the Revenue Team.

This role will be mainly focused (but not limited) to reconciling the Licensing and Merchandising (L&M) revenue/billing transactions and updating the relevant systems, along with providing support to the Reporting and the Commercial teams.

Tasks will include:

Owning the Flowhaven to Netsuite platform reconciliation (will need to be prioritised during the first three months, but it will be an ongoing duty)

  • Chase relevant internal/external contacts for missing statements/information
  • Assist with the processing of Royalty statements (validating, saving down, tracking, chasing for incomplete/missing ones)
  • Assist the Commercial team with the preparation of any L&M true up/down tracker and share with L&M team
  • Assist with prompt and accurate month end reporting
  • Liaise with Legal and Commercial teams to resolve any royalty statements discrepancies
  • Production of ad hoc reports and analysis based on business requirements
  • Assist in the statutory audit process including the preparation of supporting schedules as requested by the auditors and resolution of audit queries

We are looking for a process led and detailed orientated Digital Content Manager to manage a solid database and archive library of our growing catalogue of content in this newly created role based in our London Office.

They will work closely with the Senior Operations Production Manager to ensure all our content is logged and stored efficiently. This role would be responsible for ensuring ALL historic content made by Moonbug has been delivered with full assets and is easily available for the wider visibility of the company.

They require great management skills with clear communication to Studio management and require someone who has a good technical knowledge of the video editing process and post production storage.

Further, the Brand Marketing Director will work with our research and insights partners to lead audience insights, set the direction for the optimal exposure through existing marketing and distribution channels, work with our many brand partners to build a holistic brand experience across partner and Moonbug channels as well as create and implement marketing plans and analyze the impact of our efforts.

This role is a great opportunity for someone with a business, marketing or similar degree and previous experience in a brand marketing role, ideally within an entertainment and/or kids-focused business, to work in one of the most exciting kids’ entertainment companies.

The ideal candidate has a passion for the digital media landscape and understands the intricacies and unique attributes of every step in the marketing funnel – ideally with prior experience with entertainment and/or family marketing. Also critical to the role is a deep understanding of how marketing can drive commercial success, while ensuring the long-term health of the brand.

The successful candidate must be autonomous and self-organized, while creative and self-motivated; have strong attention to detail and great communication skills. The candidate must also be proactive, process-driven, meet committed deadlines and great at working collaboratively in a fast-paced, international environment.

As we are still a young company you will get to build up a team which will be dedicated to Blippi and T Rex Ranch. You will be working collaboratively with the marketing, creative and comms team as well as research and insights partners to deliver world-class experiences for our audience.

The Job:

  • Collaborate with Brand owner (GMs) & Sr. Brand Marketing Director (U.S.) to set marketing strategy and annual plans for both brands globally.
  • Work closely with GM to define the vision for the brands. Be the steward to protect the brand vision, mission and values while ensuring all marketing efforts align with brands’ commercial needs.
  • Be the expert on the brands’ target audience and consumer, and lead consumer insights plans.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive affinity for our brands, drive consumption of our content, engagement on social media platforms and drive conversion on our various retail partner platforms.
  • Establish relevant KPIs for marketing plans. Track department performance against KPIs to identify opportunities to improve department performance, increase brand scale, and enhance efficiency of marketing spend.
  • Oversee creation of brand assets including trailers, sales materials, style guides and other marketing materials.
  • Build supporting Brand Marketing team
  • Support licensing and distribution partners to develop and execute strategies across their business units and channels integrating with our marketing channel infrastructure.
  • Oversee brand marketing team collaborations with internal cross-functional teams like content, brand partnerships and legal for campaign approvals and coordination.
  • Develop robust test & learn plan to improve performance and marketing spend efficiencies across channels, based on data & analytical insights
  • Responsible for managing Brand Marketing budget
  • Drive innovation with partners to get them excited to promote our fun and enriching shows and characters.

Requirements

  • You have 8+ years’ experience in a marketing role or brand strategy role with a strong focus on digital marketing
  • Experience with family entertainment a benefit
  • Bachelor’s degree required. Masters/MBA degree preferred
  • Analytical mindset with an understanding of acquisition funnel, performance marketing KPIs and profitability levers
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to effectively present ideas and concepts to internal/external stakeholders at all levels
  • A strong communicator (written and oral) with a can-do, positive attitude who is calm under pressure and can influence and achieve buy-in at all levels
  • Able to prioritize, multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Hungry and curious – constantly bringing new insights, ideas and opportunities to the brand
  • Passion for brands that move fast and shape culture
  • Fluent English, essential; other languages beneficial
  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Excellent strategic planning skills with the ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate high impact campaigns and initiatives
  • Strategic self-starter with ability to navigate cross-functional teams. Must have a proven track record of successfully driving high impact projects from start to finish

The Role

  • Oversee post sale activities and day to day client communication on assigned accounts.
  • Effective client communication to ensure their needs are understood, anticipated and exceeded with the overall goal of delivering brilliant client service.
  • Responsibilities include post sales coordination, media integration, asset delivery, creative and production schedule management as well as campaign reporting deliverables.
  • Proactively identify opportunities within your account list to provide suggestions that will increase client satisfaction.
  • Partake in brainstorming sessions to generate creative ideas for client pitches.
  • Collecting and analyzing campaign data and consumer trends data.
  • Oversee the delivery of client reports and ensure they are delivered in a timely manner to the client.
  • Run the client status meetings, ensuring efficient meetings and strong follow ups.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholder teams: brand partnerships, media & ad ops, data, creative, production, social, marketing & finance.
  • Become a subject matter expert for all Moonbug IP.

This role will report full-time ON-SITE at our West Hollywood Office.

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience within the media industry: media agency, publisher or creative agency background.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage short-term and long-term deliverables.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage large, complex projects as well as juggle multiple projects at one time.
  • Solutions oriented with strong problem solving skills.
  • Effective communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excited by a fast paced environment.
