Seeking a Key Grip for an NYU Thesis Film shooting May 28-30 & June 4-5 in NJ.

Unusual Ceremonies is a short film about two young women grappling with their feelings of romantic and sexual attraction on the night they are to “pledge their virginity to Christ” at a purity ball.

The script is an official selection for the European Independent Film Festival and we can’t wait to bring it to screen.

Shoot is unpaid, but travel, food, lodging, and credit Is provided. Great opportunity for recent grads or folks looking to get more g&e experience. We will be staying overnight In NJ the first weekend. 

Unusual Ceremonies is proudly queer-led and we’d love to prioritize queer folks, BIPOC, and women for this role. Partial availability will be considered!

CAB Castings, LLC. is looking for PAID EXTRAS (AGES 18 +) for “FBI/POLICE OFFICERS” for the hit Starz series “BMF” filming TUESDAY 5/24 here  in Atlanta, GA.
(This scene takes place in the year 1988, certain looks will not allow everyone to be in this scene. Please no modern hairstyles, colored hair, Lash extensions,or long acrylic nails. Must be clean shaven or willing to get shaved on set. ) 

We are casting for the following specific extras for scenes on this TUESDAY, 5/24 in Atlanta, GA.:

WE ASK THAT WHEN BOOKED AS A PAID EXTRA, YOU BE PREPARED TO WORK AT LEAST A 12 HR WORK DAY AS WE DON’T KNOW HOW LONG YOU WILL BE SPECIALLY ON SET, SO PLEASE HAVE OPEN AVAILABILITY FOR THE DAY YOU SUBMIT FOR!

COVID TESTING:

• Must be available for COVID 19 testing at our testing location in the Fulton Industrial Area.
• If interested in working on TUESDAY, 5/24/2022, testing date is: MONDAY 5/23/2022 between 6am and 9am.
• Testing is NASAL PCR and you will receive a $25 COVID TESTING BUMP on your voucher the day you report to set for each test taken.
• YOU MUST REPORT TO SET TO RECEIVE THIS BUMP! Tests from other productions are not valid on this set as each production has their own Covid guidelines and labs.
• Your results must come from the designated lab that all cast and crew use on this production.
• The rate for extras on this production is $100 for 8hrs of work, which you will receive in the form of a check in the mail 2 to 3 weeks after filming.

ABOUT THE ROLE: Reeling from her sister Madison’s death, YOUNG TORI decides the pieces of the tragedy don’t add up and she begins her own investigation.

All the while, she’s also processing her grief by trying to become more like her older sister.

A day rate of $125, plus a meal provided on set.
The approximate shooting schedule is 9 am to 6 pm on Friday, May 27 in Wilmington, NC. Lodging is not provided.

HEY 18 TO LOOK YOUNGERS! We are starting the high school scenes in Fantasy Football and have MULTIPLE days coming up where we need people 18 + years old who look like they could be in HIGH SCHOOL. Is this you? 

Please see below: we have multiple options for filming. We are also looking for some specialty athletic 18 to look youngers who have experience playing the following sports: Football, Flag Football, and/or Soccer. If you have experience playing any of these sports, please let us know in your submission. We have some specialty roles available for sports types, and others an be robots competitions spectators. You’ll get paid to watch a robot competition with a real local robotics team! Other days are at a local high school set.
