Some people will then be asked to send in a video recording so we can get to know you a bit more.
After that a small number of people will be invited to a London casting studio to meet someone from our team and from the production.

Job Description:
Straight To Tell is hiring a creative producer with a passion and an expertise for project management, creative production, storytelling and the public good to manage our team of creatives. The Creative Producer will work closely with the Studio Director, Director of Creative Operations, and Creative Director to support film/video projects, animation, and general production.
Role Overview:
Manage pre-production, production, and post-production; developing production budgets and schedules, project managing client work for the creative team, facilitating client’s creative vision and needs, working closely with exec producers and other key stakeholders, as well as in-house editors and management to ensure all assets go out on time and are up to studio standards. In addition, sourcing and hiring crew members for productions and analyzing, maintaining, and improving project management processes, systems, and reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Manage projects, timelines, budgets, and staff for creative client work.
- Oversee post-production, coordinating, budgets, hirings, music clearance, submissions to film festivals, etc.
- Manage all film/video and animation project communications (with clients and partners), document meeting notes and ensure the team is briefed and the project is on-track.
- Manage external communications including preparing contracts, sending agreements, tracking status and collecting releases, sending and tracking invoices for applicable projects etc.
- Execute logistics – T&C waivers, music clearances, budgets, talent contracts, coordinating with guests, etc.
- Produce in-studio special projects. That may include overseeing video, animation, and design projects, podcasts, or events.
- Work closely with the Outreach Coordinator to oversee story recruiting efforts for testimonial-based campaigns. This includes confirming appearance releases, confirming campaign messaging goals are being followed, and track interview counts.
- Hire recruiters, animation personnel, talent, and video crew.
- Support Studio Director and Director of Operations in staff management and development, as well as lead reporting for creative production where appropriate.
- Manage studio gear rental and tracking, as well as merch fulfillment when necessary.

- Run multiple projects at once, delegating supportive tasks to teammates as necessary to ensure we are producing strong conceptual and expressive work that is engaging and reflects a cohesive visual style, voice, and tone.
- Predict and/or identify roadblocks and obstacles, and proactively establish meetings or integration points between teams to address and resolve them.
What It Takes To Catch Our Eye
- Experience within the world of production. Both agency and in-house experience preferred.
- The ability to review, critique, and negotiate bids for experiential, digital, content (video & photo), and physical product production.
- A proven leader with experience managing teams in all stages of development from pre-production through ship and post-launch.
- Relationship builder that proactively looks to foster and maintain inclusive, positive, collaborative relationships in the Studio.
- Ability to work well remotely and communicate effectively in the Slack, Monday.com, and Google environments.

What You’ll Do
- Assist in day-to-day management and role assignments for a Studio team that includes designers, editors, photographers and animators. Help ensure team members are fully utilized while also maintaining team balance.
- Develop and maintain a robust freelance network of creative professionals to supplement the in-house Studio Team
- Lead the creation of project briefs that uncover the chewy center of a story and gain alignment from multiple stakeholders on goals and objectives for a project
- Serve as an editorial counselor to clients, making recommendations on the type of content brands should create, how it should be distributed and how it can engage their key audiences
- Serve as project manager including developing scopes, managing budgets and maintaining project timelines
- Knowledge of paid media deliverables and ability to work with colleagues and vendor partners to ensure all assets meet required specs and are delivered within deadline
- Producer role on video shoots including scouting locations, booking talent, directing freelancers and managing crews on-site
What You’ll Need
- A proven track record of 5-7 years of relevant experience at a production company, digital media company advertising/marketing agency or experiential marketing firm
- Clear thinker and communicator who can turn complex topics into compelling stories and align them with the brand’s mission
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proven ability to juggle multiple deadlines
- High levels of empathy and caring when it comes to supporting colleagues and working to adapt client needs to fit team strengths
