We are seeking a Creative Director, Manager of Design to lead a team of talented creatives and oversee the development of integrated content for our newest brand, Homesense and for our HomeGoods Retail channel.

You are a leader and strategic thinker who brings creative vision and a relentless curiosity. You have a passion for inspiring and cultivating great creative, and you’re equally passionate about building a great brand and connecting with consumers in a meaningful way.

Areas of Responsibility:

  • Direct and oversees the development of innovative work that breaks through to the customer, maintains and enhances the brand image, and drives sales in all channels: online video, social & digital media, email, website, grand opening campaigns, in-store signage, environmental branding, and other marketing initiatives.
  • Drive the brand forward through collaborations with strategic brand partners and external agencies.
  • Generate and inspire teams to generate ideas that drive awareness & consideration and breaks through in ways relevant for each channel.
  • Understands trends in brands, design, media, and retail and can translate insights into current creative concepts.
  • Enables collaborative and flexible teamwork
  • Acts as mentor and is committed to growth of the team

Requirements:

  • Proven talent and exceptional design skills (well-produced, big idea campaigns)
  • Wealth of experience creating content for all platforms and fluent in the digital space.
  • You’re collaborative, resilient, and open to ideas and feedback.
  • You’re passionate about innovation and energized by improving process.
  • You’re able to oversee and create work that directly answers strategic briefs.
  • Proven ability to work in all channels
  • Thinks and articulates both verbally and visually
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proven ability to effectively present ideas to marketing teams
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects
  • Intelligent thinking, strong organizational skills
  • Proven ability as a problem solver and to take the initiative to solve issues
  • Proficient in InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Extensive understanding of photography, video, illustration, typography, and directing motion graphics

  • Has managed a medium to large creative staff

WHAT: This is for a corporate hair model job. At a hair model job you will sit, stand, or walk the runway while industry professionals discuss your hair in order for our clients to market their brand/product via an live audience, photos, and/or videos.

LOCATION: Kansas City Convention Center
REQUESTED SIZE REQUIREMENTS – dress size 0 – 8
REQUESTED AGE RANGE – legally 18 or older and appearing 30 or younger
SUBMISSION DEADLINE – ASAPWORK DATES -PREP DATE & TIME – 8AM-2PM on September 24th
EVENT DATES & TIME –

RATES –   ALL models will have a black and white job agreement link if selected for digital castings.

MODELS – 
2- long hair for up styling – pre done models for main stage AND classroom bridal segments
1- willing to go chin length or shorter- main stage (MUST BE OPEN TO CUTTING)
1- willing to cut in a shoulder length shag- main stage (MUST BE OPEN TO CUTTING)
 
· All models must be willing to color their hair- they will be doing subtle color changes as they are not a color company. They just need everything to look even, healthy, and shiny
· All models must be confident in walking and be comfortable on a large stage. All models will be used on the main stage.
· We are looking for a diverse group of models with different hair textures and skin tones and sizes
· Models must be willing to get their makeup done by an on site makeup artist and be willing to have any makeup look that matches the aesthetic of our client’s brand. Models will not be allowed to do their own makeup
· Models may be asked to bring some of their own clothing items to fill in the gaps of our existing wardrobe, and should be prepared to do so if asked
· Models should be able to bring some of their own wardrobe pieces to fill in gaps with our client’s existing wardrobe

What: Tourism Commercial in the Adirondack/Lake George Region of Upstate NY
When: 10/1 – 10/7 – Specific dates per role are TBD, the client would like people to be flexible in their schedule
ROLES: Open to all diversities, we need the following roles/ages Mother (30-40s) & Father (30s-40s) – Must be comfortable and able to engage with kids
  • Kids (4-10) **Must like to engage water sports and amusement parks
  • Younger Couple (20s-30s) ** some roles will be required to kayak in a river, so please note any boating experience.
  • Mature Adult Female & Male (45-65)
Rate/Terms: Most roles are $1000 for ½ day on set. Rate is dependent on specific roles you could be cast for, which will be determined in the upcoming weeks.
This is a 5 year buyout for all forms of media including unlimited edits of broadcast, print and digital.
 
**You can not have appeared in another tourism spot in the past year and if given a role in this spot, the client would like 1 year of exclusivity to their tourism campaign.
