Dove & Milo Casting are seeking Teen Girls of East Asian heritage (and their Mothers) for a Dove Girls Self-Esteem Initiative!

Looking For:

• Mothers with Female identifying Teen daughters 12-17 yrs old 
• Looking for Mom and Daughter duos of East Asian Heritage including but not limited to Chinese, Filipino, Thai, Indonesian, Korean, Japanese, Vietnamese, etc 
• Mom and Daughter are NOT actors or models and have no prior professional experience in front of the camera. 
• Looking for teen girls (and their mothers) willing to speak honestly about the unrealistic beauty standards perpetuated in social media and elsewhere.  
• Particularly interested in teen girls who spend time on social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and Snapchat. They like to play around with filters for fun, or perhaps they or others they know have felt pressure to use beauty filters to feel better about themselves. 

Details & Submission Information 

Mother-Daughter duos will be paid $1000+ for the shoot day, plus additional fees for usage fees if featured in the final campaign.

You must be available for the key dates:

• Must be comfortable with scripted violence and murder content
• OFFICER HODGE was one of a group of officers who beat one of the victims.
• Must be able to portray extreme emotions.
• Must be comfortable handling prop guns.
• Must closely resemble the attached photo.

Rate – $125/day (flat. no hotel, travel, or stipend).

Must be registered with Central Casting. 
We are starting to cast the Afghanistan scenes for The Old Man.

We are starting to test on Monday, and we will try on Weds to start work for the season, which begins on Monday, March 21st.  

We are starting with casting men and hiring people to work throughout the season. One of those situations where we will release a large pool of people and check with you when we get shooting schedules. This will work intermittently for the next few months in Santa Clarita. The call times will probably be early on this show because we have so much to shoot.  

Below is what we are casting right now — we are only releasing men now; the women will be fitting in a week or so: 

Union & Non-Union Males to portray 18 to ’50s to appear Middle Eastern.

We are looking for men with beards, but I am taking submissions for both bearded and not bearded.

Covid Test on Monday, 3/20 (Los Angeles area) 

Shoot on Weds 3/22, Thurs 3/23, Friday 3/24 (Santa Clarita)

SAG Rates: $100/4 for Testing Days, 187/8 for shoot Days,  46.75/2 for Costume Fitting

Non-Union Rates: $33/2 for Testing Days, 132/8 for shoot days, and $33/2 for Costume Fittings.

Here are the specs for the next day we need background talent on WE STRANGERS Feature Film. This is scheduled for this Wednesday, the 15th.

The previously posted featured roles have been cast, except for PIANO MAN. These scenes will not be next week after all.

If you are still in the running for Piano Player, I will check your availability for new dates after this week.

You need to have your reliable transportation to get to MERRILLVILLE, INDIANA—ideal location for those of you that live in the south suburbs.

New faces for the Senior Center scenes for BINGO day! It should be fun. SENIORS of any ethnicity and gender.

Also need someone to play the CLEANER.

It must fit into a Medium or Large logo’d t-shirt. Include your sizes.

We are also casting just a few PEDESTRIANS for this day. Any ethnicity and gender. 21 years and older. Must be at least 21 years old.

Rate of Pay: $123.20 for up to 8 hours, plus overtime at time and one half.

Production paying by check mailing directly to talent to expedite.

No payroll company. Covid testing at check-in.
