Short Film Casting Call

Job Details: Storm of Suspicion, EP 517 is a true crime recreation series for The Weather Channel. The production is set to take place in the Knoxville area on October 5-6, 2023. Please note that call times are preliminary and may be subject to change. There is no scripted audio for this project.

Job Responsibilities: The chosen candidate will be portraying a Medical Examiner. Their role will involve accurately recreating scenes that pertain to a real-life case, adding authenticity and depth to the reenactments. Attention to detail and an understanding of the gravity of the role are crucial.

Requirements:

• Gender: Male
• Age Range: Late 40’s to 60’s
• Availability for filming on October 5th (likely around 5 pm).
• Ability to take direction and embody the role convincingly.

Job Details: We are currently seeking two adult male actors to portray Crime Scene Investigators (#2 and #3) for an upcoming episode. The selected candidates will be needed on Friday, starting around noon.

Job Responsibilities:

• Portray the role of Crime Scene Investigators realistically and convincingly.
• Perform various physical actions such as climbing, kneeling, squatting, standing, and lifting objects up to 50lbs as required by the scene.
