Job Description: We are seeking Chicano and Tejano males and females, aged 21 and above, to participate as extras in a true crime recreation project for A&E titled “Chicano Squad.” This special aims to recreate events from a significant historical case, providing an immersive experience for viewers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Act as background extras in a Cantina scene, providing authenticity and depth to the recreation.
• Follow direction from the director and production team to achieve the desired ambiance and atmosphere.
• Maintain professionalism and be punctual for the assigned shoot time.
• Create a believable setting by portraying characters realistically, in accordance with the era and cultural context.

Requirements:

• Chicano or Tejano ethnicity.
• Age 21 and above.
• Availability on Monday, October 25th, around 4:00 PM. (Please note that this schedule is preliminary and subject to change. Flexibility is appreciated.)
• Willingness to follow direction and collaborate with the production team.

Compensation:

• $100 per day

Casting Call: Claudia – Chicano Squad True Crime Recreation

Location: Knoxville, TN area

Filming Dates: October 25-30 (Schedule is preliminary and subject to change)

Role Description: Claudia is a Chicano/Tejano female in her 30’s-40’s. She works as a waitress in the cantina where a pivotal shooting incident takes place. This is a featured role where Claudia will be present at the crime scene and will be questioned by detectives.

Job Responsibilities:

• Portray Claudia authentically and convincingly in the recreated scenes.
• Follow directions from the director and production team.
• Collaborate with fellow cast members to bring the scene to life.

Requirements:

• Ethnicity: Chicano/Tejano
• Age Range: 30’s-40’s
• Ability to portray emotions and act convincingly in a true crime recreation setting.
• Previous acting experience preferred, but not mandatory.
