NBC Chicago Med Casting Call

Local to Chicago and the Surrounding Suburbs ONLY!

Important Note: For the health and safety of all individuals on “Chicago MED,”  all “Zone A” cast and crew must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to beginning work. 

We will consider reasonable accommodations as required by law for individuals who cannot be vaccinated due to a disability or a sincerely held religious belief, practice or observance. 

You will be REQUIRED to show a hard copy or an electronic copy (photo) of your vaccination card at testing when you come in for your pre-employment.

  • Searching for REAL NURSES (Male and female, all ethnicities) OR RETIRED REAL NURSES, to work as core extras on Chicago Med. You will need to be available sometime next week to Covid test and then work Monday thru Friday, thru early May 2022.
  • We have two weeks off for Christmas.

We shoot a 12-hour-day, and a nice lunch is served. We start about as early as 5AM or 6AM. We work on the west side of Chicago at Cinespace Studio.

“SOCCER GALS” – Seeing a mom and (approximately) 14 year old daughter with an SUV! Tall order – we’re aware  If we can’t find an actual mom/daughter duo, we’ll accept submissions from early teenage girls and younger moms that the director will pair together for filming. The director would like the mom to be comfortable driving an SUV or midsize vehicle, so please make sure to submit your car info for consideration. Open to any ethnicity.

  • Covid test: Tuesday 10/5 – $60 (half day’s pay; adult); $75 (half day’s pay; minor)
  • Filming: Thursday 10/7 – $120/8 + $35 auto bump (adult); $150/8 (15 and younger)

“RIP HOUSE ” – Seeking African American or Hispanic/Latino men, roughly ages 20s-30s to play drive-by victims outside a known stash house. Must be comfortable with special effects makeup/blood and laying on the ground for an extended period of time. There will be a mandatory wardrobe fitting prior to the filming date.

  • Covid test: Monday 10/4 – $75 (half day’s pay)
  • Wardrobe fitting: Wednesday 10/6 – $25 bump
  • Filming: Thursday 10/7 – $150/8

“SEEDY APARTMENT” – Looking for Hispanic/Latino men, ages 18-25 to play corner boys, dealers and lookouts. There might be some good camera time with these roles, since the director would like to select the background actors to play these parts. In your submission photos, please send us more of a serious look (versus smiling) since the role is supposed to be more of an intimidating, tough guy character.

  • Covid test: Monday 10/4 – $60 (half day’s pay)
  • Filming: Wednesday 10/6 – $120/8

  • Casting Alert! Searching for a BALD (clean shaven head) MALE, WITH BEARD, AND MUSTACHE, BROWNISH, 6′ TO 6’4″, 170 TO 195. (or no beard and mustache – and you will need to wear a beard/mustache). 

This is for a photodouble, non-speaking role, (same height and coloring as actor to use in place of actor for insert and far away shots), that shoots on Monday, Oct. 4th for Chicago Fire. You will need to take a Covid test on Friday, Oct. 1st. (takes about one hour).

CISCO Industrial Video Casting Call

This one is for a short corporate industrial video filming in a Chicago office next week. Both non-speaking talent will play as extras on Tuesday, 10/5 AND Wednesday, 10/6. You need to be available ‘both’ days for continuity to be considered.

Rate of Pay is $250/day for less than an 8 hour day. $500 in total for each person. Parking provided as usual.

  • We are looking for 1 female (Latino or Caucasian with brown hair) and 1 male (African American). Both in the Age Range of 25–45 years old.
  • Wardrobe will NOT be provided, and we ask each actor bring a few options for business, business casual and casual attire.
  • This is for an internal Industrial video for Cisco that may also land on their website, not television. 

Usage: One year clearance. There will be NO dialogue for either actor, but they will be asked to express responses to the main talent who is a Cisco employee.

All crew will remain masked throughout the production, and all are vaccinated. Talent will be asked to mask up when off set, but they need to be comfortable removing their masks when shooting (including in an elevator). They may need talent to confirm vaccination before entering the building. In your email, please not if you are fully vaccinated. Everyone will follow all covid protocols.
