Job Description: Burton Casting is seeking real-life pairs consisting of caregivers and individuals with an early diagnosis of Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia (such as Parkinson’s disease or Lewy Body dementia) for a new public service announcement (PSA) campaign. We are looking for authentic stories from caregivers who live with and care for their loved ones under the same roof. This campaign aims to highlight the significance of recognizing early signs of dementia, the process of addressing these symptoms, and the impact of early diagnosis.
Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in video shoots that will last approximately 15 to 30 seconds.
- Share personal experiences regarding the early signs of dementia, how they were addressed, and the benefits of consulting a healthcare provider.
- Engage on camera, with the person with dementia able to articulate their experiences and thoughts, even if briefly.
Requirements:
- Must be a caregiver to someone with an early diagnosis of Alzheimer’s or other dementia-related diseases (not a professional nurse or healthcare worker).
- Must have a personal and familial relationship with the individual (e.g., spouse, close family member).
- The person with dementia should be capable of speaking about their experiences on camera.
- Seeking both English and native Spanish-speaking participants.
- Both participants must be available in mid-May for the shoot.
