Hackers say they hacked Mark Zuckerberg’s Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest accounts.
Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s Twitter and Pinterest accounts were hacked and apparently comprised for a short period on Sunday, according to reports.
A hacking group called Ourmine claimed responsibility and asked the Facebook founder to contact them. “Hey we got access to your Twitter & Instagram & Pinterest, we are just testing your security, please direct message us,” reports quoted a message on Zuckerberg’s hacked Twitter account as saying.
Twitter suspended the account and deleted the tweet before reinstating it. The hackers claimed that they found Zuckerberg’s password among the information from compromised LInkedIN accounts, last month.
A Facebook spokesman spoke with asserting that the hackers’ claim that Zuckerberg’s account on Instagram, which is owned by Facebook, was compromised. “No Facebook systems or accounts were accessed,” the representative said. “The affected accounts have been re-secured.”
It’s important to point out that Zuckerberg is not the first celebrity to get hacked. Recently, Kylie Jenner’s Twitter was hacked and posted controversial comments such as a sex tape, and tweeting to Justin Bieber.
