Netflix’s ‘Cowboy Bebop Delayed After John Cho’s On Set Injury

Date:

Netflix’s new series ‘Cowboy Bebop‘ series is delayed by 7-9 months due to John Cho‘s on-set injury.

Deadline reports Netflix is delaying their shooting schedule for their upcoming live-action adaptation of the popular anime series ‘Cowboy Bebop’ for up to nine months after the movie’s lead actor John Cho buffered an on-set injury.

The incident, described by the news outlet as “a freak accident,” occurred on the final take of a scene, and has caused John Cho a knee injury which will now require surgery and months of rehab. The actor has since returned to Los Angeles for treatment.

While production has recently started, the show is only a few episodes into their 10-episode season, the streaming service is focused on keeping Cho as the lead actor. A spokesperson for the company said: “Our thoughts are with John, and he has our complete support as he recuperates from this injury.”

John Cho took to Instagram to thank Netflix and his fans for their support and promises to be back on set in no time’.
