Date:

ESPN sports reporter Britt McHenry nearly fired after video surfaces of her cursing and belittling a towing company employee.

ESPN sports reporter Britt McHenry is suspended for one week from the ABC network after berating a towing employee. McHenry’s car was towed from a Chinese restaurant in Arlington, Virginia and the reporter insulted the woman’s looks, education and job.

“Maybe if I was missing some teeth I could get a job here?,” the glamorous ESPN reporter said the towing company employee. “Lose some weight, baby girl,” McHenry said as she walked away.

McHenry later apologized Thursday after security footage surfaced online. She explained that it was “an intense and stressful” situation.
