Cheetos flavored popcorn may be the next item at your local movie theater.
Visiting the concession stand at your local multiplex can be pretty underwhelming. Not only is everything way overpriced, but the choices are really crappy. From soggy nachos, to stale popcorn. But, that is all about to change. Cheetos is thinking about selling Cheetos flavored popcorn.
According to the USA Today, Cheetos flavored popcorn was a major hit at last week’s CinemaCon.
But, it may be a while before you can ever get your hands on a bag of Cheetos popcorn. Frito-Lay’s Alexia Allina made it clear they are currently developing the snack, but those seeing the evolution of the product still have a few things to work out in the formula.
As a company, we’re always innovating and testing new product concepts to see what resonates best with our consumers. Cheetos Popcorn is still in the very early development stages.
Until then I will sneak a Subway sub or McDonald’s dollar menu into the theater.
