Text messages from Amber Heard and Johnny Depp’s assistant detail the alleged Johnny Depp abuse.
Text messages from 2014 between Amber Heard and a man that is reported to be Johnny Depp’s assistant appear to reveal the alleged history of domestic abuse. In the text messages, obtained by Entertainment Tonight, the assistant, Stephen Deuters, allegedly apologizes on behalf of Depp: “He’s incredibly apologetic and knows that he has done wrong. He wants to be better now. He’s been very explicit about that this morning. Feel like we’re at a critical juncture.”
The recipient, allegedly Amber Heard, responded by saying: “I don’t know how to be around him after what he did to me today. I don’t know if I can stay with him.”
Johnny Depp’s assistant tells Amber Heard that Johnny Depp allegedly didn’t remember what happened before the fight. “When I told him he kicked you, he cried,” the assistant purportedly wrote. “It was disgusting. And he knows it.” Heard responded by saying that this was not the first time, revealing other incidents including an incident in “Tokyo, the island, London.” All of the messages, according to ET‘s sources, come from May 2014—before the pair were married.
Amber Heard filed for divorce and a restraining order last week.
