Job Description
A community-led indie theatre company is seeking a volunteer Videographer and a Social Media Coordinator to support an upcoming Pan-Asian Theatre Festival. The production team is looking for creative and passionate individuals to help capture live festival moments, create engaging social media content, and document performances during the event.
The Videographer will be responsible for recording archival footage of festival performances, while the Social Media Coordinator will manage Instagram content and capture behind-the-scenes photos and videos vlog-style throughout the event.
Job Responsibilities
Videographer
- Capture archival-quality video footage of theatre performances and festival activities
- Operate personal or provided video equipment professionally
- Coordinate with festival organizers to ensure proper coverage of performances
- Deliver clear and organized footage after the event
Social Media Coordinator
- Manage and update Instagram stories/posts during the festival
- Capture engaging photos and short-form video content
- Create vlog-style behind-the-scenes content for social media
- Work closely with organizers to maintain brand tone and audience engagement
Requirements
- Experience with videography, photography, or social media content creation preferred
- Familiarity with Instagram and social media storytelling
- Ability to work independently in a live event environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Must be available during scheduled evening event hours
- Portfolio, resume, or previous work samples are encouraged
