An international docu-drama production is casting English-speaking actors based in Kolkata for a variety of roles. This project is seeking diverse talent to portray realistic and character-driven roles, ranging from authority figures to everyday individuals. Job Responsibilities
- Portray assigned characters in scripted docu-drama scenes
- Follow direction from the production team
- Deliver natural and believable performances on camera
- Be available for scheduled shoot days and callbacks
Requirements
- Must be based in Kolkata and available locally
- English-speaking ability required
- Open to a variety of roles including:
- Men ages 40–50s for officer roles
- Men in their 20s for soldier roles (lean build)
- Women in their 20s for student roles (lean build)
- Women in their 40s for principal roles
- Men of larger build for shop owner roles
- Older adults for elderly roles (Bengali-speaking preferred)
- Children ages 4–11
- International actors for select roles (British accent or European background)
- Ability to follow direction and perform naturally on camera
Compensation
- Paid opportunity (rate disclosed upon selection)
- 1–3 days of filming per role
