Voice Actors – Neutral U.S. English Dialect for Speech Recording Project

Job Description
A major post-production studio is seeking non-union voice actors for a paid speech synthesis project. Talent will record scripted lines in a neutral U.S. English dialect to support a proprietary technology platform. Actors must express a broad emotional range with clarity and natural delivery. This is a remote opportunity ideal for professional voice actors, narrators, or performers with a home recording setup.

Job Responsibilities

  • Record and deliver scripted speech samples using a neutral U.S. English accent
  • Convey a wide range of emotional tones clearly and authentically
  • Submit high-quality audio from a quiet, professional recording environment
  • Follow direction and complete multiple takes if needed
  • Deliver final recordings within project deadlines

Requirements

  • Must be 18+ and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Native English speaker with a neutral American accent
  • Prior experience in voice acting, narration, or related performance work
  • Professional-grade microphone and dedicated quiet recording space
  • Must submit a voice reel (MP3 format) for approval

Compensation

  • $150 per recorded speech hour (1 hour equals approximately 4–6 labor hours)
  • Potential for up to 20 hours of recording work
  • Payment processed within two weeks of final approval
