Oscar winning actress Charlize Theron thinks that it’s hard for her to land major roles in Hollywood because she’s too attractive.
Charlize Theron is one of Hollywood’s prettiest and most talented actresses. The star of Monster, Hancock and Mad Max:Fury Road recently spoke with British GQ about her acting career and had some shocking words to say about the film industry.
“Jobs with real gravitas go to people that are physically right for them and that’s the end of the story. How many roles are out there for the gorgeous, fucking, gown-wearing eight-foot model? When meaty roles come through, I’ve been in the room and pretty people get turned away first.”
I guess being rich, famous AND beautiful is too much for Hollywood casting directors who decide to choose people who are less attractive.
Either way, it’s a great way to look at life, if you think the only reason casting directors don’t want you is because you are too attractive.
