Job Description:
An independent film project is seeking a location sound recordist for a sci-fi horror short film titled Seek And You Shall Find. This role is suited for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in film production while contributing to a creative and atmospheric project. All necessary gear will be provided by the production.

Job Responsibilities:

• Record high-quality audio on set during filming
• Collaborate with the director and crew to ensure optimal sound capture
• Monitor sound levels and minimize background noise
• Operate and manage provided audio equipment
• Ensure consistency and clarity of recorded dialogue and ambient sound

Requirements:

• Basic to intermediate experience in sound recording preferred
• Understanding of on-set audio workflows
• Ability to work collaboratively in a film production environment
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Interest in sci-fi and horror genres is a plus
