Job Description
A feature film is casting recurring musicians (18+) to portray members of the “St. Opal Carolers,” a group featured throughout the movie. Filming will take place in Slidell, Louisiana, and selected talent must be fully available for all scheduled shoot dates to maintain continuity. This is a paid on-camera opportunity for musicians of all skill levels who are comfortable performing in a cinematic setting.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform as part of a recurring musical group in the film

• Play your instrument naturally and confidently on camera

• Maintain continuity across multiple filming dates

• Follow direction from the director and production team

• Be prepared for full-day shoots

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older

• Must be available for all scheduled filming dates

• Comfortable playing one or more of the following instruments:

Job Description
A feature film is now casting musicians (all skill levels, 18+) to appear on camera as part of a lead character’s backup band in a 2001 flashback scene. Filming will take place in Slidell, Louisiana. Producers are seeking performers who are comfortable playing instruments on screen and bringing authentic live-band energy to a nostalgic early-2000s setting. Individual musicians and full bands are welcome to apply.

Orchestra Members for Commercial – Austin, TX

Job Description
A commercial production is casting adult extras in Austin, Texas to portray orchestra members. This paid commercial casting call is open to talent ages 18 and older of all ethnicities who own their own concert band instrument and can realistically mime playing on camera.

Casting directors are specifically seeking musicians with brass, woodwind, or string instruments. (Guitars and pianos are not needed for this project.) Talent must bring their own instrument and be comfortable appearing as part of a professional orchestra setting.

Filming will take place in Austin, TX, and selected talent should be prepared for a full production day.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray an orchestra member in a commercial shoot

• Bring and handle your own instrument on set

• Mime realistic playing movements during filming

• Follow direction from the production team

• Be available for a full shoot day (10–12 hours possible)
