Film Casting Call for Real U.S. Army Veteran – Scott Barron Role

Job Description
A new feature film is casting a real U.S. Army veteran to portray Scott Barron, a resilient and inspiring character who embodies courage, humility, and leadership. The production is seeking a talented actor to authentically bring this role to life. Filming will take place in Chicago and Florida.

Job Responsibilities

  • Portray Scott Barron with depth and emotional truth, reflecting the character’s military background and personal challenges.

  • Participate in rehearsals, script development, and on-set collaboration.

  • Work closely with the creative team to ensure accurate and respectful representation of veterans’ experiences.

  • Contribute insights based on personal or lived experiences to enhance authenticity.

Requirements

  • Male, 30s

  • Real U.S. Army Veteran preferred

  • Bilateral amputee (lost both hands at wrists)

  • Former helicopter pilot or able to believably portray one

  • Strong presence: resilient, humble, quietly powerful

  • Experience mentoring others or involvement in veteran support programs a plus

  • Comfortable with on-location filming in Chicago and Florida

Job Description
A new film is casting a real U.S. Army veteran to portray Ethan McKnight, a powerful and emotional role centered around resilience, pride, and healing. This project highlights the personal journey of a veteran overcoming the challenges of injury and isolation through brotherhood and love. Filming will take place in Chicago and Florida.

Job Responsibilities

  • Bring authenticity and emotional depth to the role of Ethan McKnight

  • Collaborate closely with the director and production team to shape the story authentically

  • Participate in rehearsals and on-location shoots

  • Share personal experiences that can inform and enrich the portrayal

Requirements

  • Male, 20s to early 30s

  • Real U.S. Army veteran preferred

  • Wheelchair user with limited use of the left side

  • Survivor of a helicopter crash or able to portray such a background convincingly

  • Should express vulnerability, pride, anger, and emotional growth

  • Comfortable filming in Chicago and Florida

  • Open to working on a script that adapts to the actor’s personal experiences

Compensation
