Job Description
A network television true crime recreation series is casting for multiple roles in Knoxville. This non-union project will film several episodes with dramatic reenactments that bring real cases to life.

Job Responsibilities

  • Portray characters in scripted reenactment scenes

  • Follow on-set direction to create compelling, realistic performances

  • Commit to assigned filming times and be punctual

Requirements

  • Deputy #1: White male, any look

  • Officer #1: White male, any look

  • Thomas (Perp’s Son): White male, 20s, light brown hair

  • Kathy’s Son: White male, 20s, scruffy or unique look preferred

  • Jean (Friend of Perp): White female, 40s–50s

  • Elderly Mother: White female, 80+, wheelchair scene (daughter character wheels her out)

  • Must submit full name, current photos, height, weight, and location

Compensation

  • Deputy #1: $150/day

  • Officer #1: $150/day

  • Thomas: $75 for 1 scene

  • Kathy’s Son: $75 for 1 scene

  • Jean: $75 for 1 scene

  • Elderly Mother: $75 for 1 scene

A historical documentary is seeking an African American male actor for the role of Jacob in an upcoming non-speaking cinematic reenactment filming in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will portray a character rooted in emotional strength and quiet dignity, conveying deep emotion through presence and movement rather than dialogue.


Job Responsibilities

  • Portray the character Jacob, an enslaved man and husband to Dinah, father to Bess.

  • Perform in a non-speaking reenactment, conveying emotion and story through body language and facial expression.

  • Participate in filming and take direction from the director and production team.

  • Maintain professionalism and emotional depth throughout the production.

  • Gender: Male

  • Age Range: Around 30

  • Character Traits: Physically frail or partially disabled, emotionally strong, gentle, deeply loyal, and expressive.

  • Location: Must be a local hire in Philadelphia, PA.

  • Union Status: Non-Union


Compensation

  • Rate: $300 per day
