A Ringling College of Art and Design student film, “Just a Bowl of Cherries,” is casting an actress for the supporting role of Mariel. The story follows Daniel, a man under house arrest who develops an unexpected connection with his 80-year-old neighbor. Mariel is a chatty, opinionated woman who appears happy and fulfilled but carries guilt surrounding her relationship with her daughter.
